today was my last day of school with my miss honey i’m actually inconsolable rn
#sorry i need to rant rn#she signed my book#and i wrote her a letter#and she said that she also grew up in a divorced household that wasn’t always safe#and sought solace at school#which is why she tries so hard to make her class a safe space#and that she hopes me coming out to my dad goes well because that’s what i deserve#and that she’s proud of me for combining natural intelligence with hard work#and that i’m going to do something great with my life#i’m crying while i write this#and then i gave a letter to my other school mom and she said she never realized i felt that way#and that she’d always fill that role for me#and that i could come home any time i need#literally bawling rn#and then she told me my miss honey told her she saw herself in me#and that we had a connection when she saw me for the first time#hey guys… why would you tell that to me on the first day of school#as someone who doesn’t get to see her mom much losing such a big mother figure to me has actually made me so sad#anyway#life goes on#i just wanted to yap about that before i forgot#also she calls me queen lucy and my last hug with her she said while i was hugging her “my sweet queen lucy” and i actually cried so hard#lucy yaps ⋆˚꩜｡
