but listen...i also need him to be small and pathetic sometimes. i need someone else to protect him and love him and strong-arm and/or possibly manipulate him into resting out of love - he's still a bad ass, he can still kick ass and rip heads off shoulders and burn out eyeballs - but like he just needs to be wrapped in a blanket and kissed on the forhead and admit he likes it sometimes too and if time permitting he can get ploughed into a mattress then -

Actually yes I do think all of Bruce's kids hated him. Each and every one of those small, traumatised children, were fucked by something Bruce did and something Bruce didn't do, simultaneously.

But also fuck they loved him cause that was their dad. He was everything.

How could they not love the man who picked them up and loved them first? They knew he loved them too. He listened and taught and lectured and gifted and provided and fuck he yelled and ruined relationships and tore down bridges but god they loved him.
