And this is the nonsense were dealing with . Cause when was any of this imply in the interview. Like some are literally putting words in Shawn mouth at this point . He said in the rough drafts there was some things in there he wasn’t in a favor of never diving deeper into what those things were.And how it didn’t even wind up making into the final drafts of the scripts anyways and that it was changed . At this point it Pitt twitter doing more to push the idea of Abbot being maga more than the writers who again dropped the idea altogether in the end . Like the way some are taking that part of the interview and acting like it canon 🤦🏽‍♀️.

no. they're not. it was suggested that abbot had different views to what's shown in the show in early drafts of the script for a previous season. shawn said that he wasn't thrilled with what abbot's views were in this early draft, and the scene concerned did not end up happening. on top of that, as the script developed further, these views of abbot's were dropped from the script.

therefore, it's not canon, as it didn't make it into the final version of the show. this is literally the process of developing a character. things change in scripts.

in no way did shawn suggest that the future of abbot's character/moral views are going to change that suddenly or pivot so dramatically.

if we took early script drafts as gospel for every movie/tv show, we would have a hell of a lot of badly written, shitty characters floating about.

Pitt twitter genuinely has to be the worst place on earth. Nothing but a bunch of people hating a show no one forcing you to watch. I had plenty of shows I fallen out of love with . You know what I did I stop engaging with that show. I didn’t stalk hate watch it. I didn’t keep taps on it. I didn’t stay up to date on what the actors still on the show were saying . I just simply drop it and moved on to something else I do like 🥴. Not Pitt twitter just a bunch a miserable people that swear up and down they no longer have any interest for the show or care for the show and are no longer checking in with it . All for them to constantly stay glued and dissect any news about the show, and interview the actors give about the show etc etc. The amount of people that said they was leaving the fandom just to have never actually left is insane .

For the love god please shut up😒. Everyday this fandom tries to create stories that these 2 have beef and hate each other with theories that just don’t make sense . Noah not a writer or the show runner . Yes he write an episode from time to time same as he direct from time to time but Scott the showrunner and there are plenty of writers writing for the show that is not Noah . Season 2 scripts and arcs were being written while season 1 was just gaining traction and people only just started paying attention to the show . Shawn and Abbot had not really blown up yet when those scripts were crafted. Mind you cause people in this fandom have short term memory last year people on social media especially twitter were bitching and being mean to Shawn cause they didn’t like the way he engage with the fandom or how he tweeted (fandom police 🙄)and saying he a problem that could cost the show their emmys and Noah need to check him🥴🙄 . It wasn’t till season 2 aired and then Shawn started being seen in a different better light. Being Shawn was too busy to engaged in social media leading to him taking a break from it that when people started to let up off of him. Season 1 everyone loved Noah and Robby than that switch in season 2 to everyone loving Shawn and peferying Abbot over Robby . The point I’m making is that when season 2 was being written Noah at that point would not have any reason to want to be jealous of Shawn or Abbot cause he was still seen in a good light and in people good graces at that point.’It wasn’t till during and after season 2 aired that people opinions on Noah and Robby changed . Meaning people ridiculous theories that they wanted to make Abbot maga cause Noah had this jealousy of Shawn/Abbot popularity doesn’t add up timeline wise lol. Nevermind the fact that it just a plain stupid take to begin with .Regardless it clearly not a route they choose to take with the character anyways seeing how season 2 played out . And with Abbot being critical of the big beautiful piece of shit bill in season 3 that more evidence that Abbot is not maga . Making him a vet probably going into season 2 they had many ideas of who this character is and instead chose to not go the stereotypical “he must be conservative simply cause he a vet” route and instead made Abbot more layered and complex .

No Abbot is not a maga. He pro choice and break the rules to to get people the best healthcare they need. He supports his female co workers and students . He believes in science and goes therapy .All things maga hates . Shawn has said and describes Abbot as non political . Think the original script probably had Abbot being unfazed and choosing not to takes any sides (again he non political) . For example when Perlah says “this sucks " and Abbot nonchalantly unfazed says “yeah it does" then just easily moves on . Abbot a middle age white man former vet doing swat. He doesn’t even see the issue with doing swat as a hobby so of course he can probably sometimes be oblivious to his white male privilege just like Robby. I mean first season Collins had to breakdown to Robby why she a black woman could face greater consequences for low balling the teen girl measurements so she can get an abortion . And she right if someone found out yes Collins a black woman would face greater consequences for doing that oppose to Robby and Abbot who are white men .They have privilege that not afforded to others that they might forget about it sometimes. Anyways pretty sure season 3 storylines are gonna show even more how the character is in fact not maga their gonna include trump big beautiful bill in season 3 storyline and I’m sure Abbot would not be to pleased with it especially how it hurt veterans .Shawn has hinted at this many times in alot of interviews already .

All this remind me of when I was in the walking dead fandom and people claimed Rick Grimes was a Republican just cause he was a cop despite him checking Meryl who was a racist piece of shit and use the n word and despite the fact that the character not being a religious man the complete opposite of a religious conservative 😭. People don’t understand complex characters who are not written to be perfect . They are human being that are making mistakes and learning and unlearning and growing as they go on just like real life .

My theories as to why Abbott working days despite Robby being back . Robby didn’t come back at the time he was suppose to and when everyone was expecting him too. So I feel he just showed up without telling anyone or letting anyone know that he back . He just pop up probably surprising everyone . We know and it been confirmed by Sepideh that Baran has double coverage which means another attending has been working with her . Shawn been on set for episode 1 and as of now episode 4 is still on set . So I think it likely he the attending working with her all these months for Hashimi double coverage .So maybe it a situation of now that Robby back Abbot clock out early cause he no longer needed for days but I think that Abbot just choosing to stay anyways cause he already there . And maybe Robby the one that just chooses to stay around despite not being needed for that day cause Abbot already there . Like if Abbot were to go home now that Robby back he would have been left and still not be there .
