I think I understand why I'm a private person. Telling people my secrets creates bonds with them and then that bond creates an emotional connection, as if it wakes up my long sleeping emotions, and I certainly don't want that.

I interact with each person I meet in a different way the first time. Not only does it help keep me up to date on current social norms; it shows a part of me that others probably haven’t ever seen.

It is true that I just don’t care about uninteresting or meaningless conversations/people - if it isn’t of any use, I won’t waste my time. But contrary to popular belief, I do have feelings, even very strong ones from time to time. As an INTJ I have trouble understanding them, which collides with my rationality since I always need to understand everything around me. Without that understanding, I feel kind of lost. Not knowing why I feel certain things can drive me mad inside my logical mind. But instead of letting it take over, I hide it and sometimes ignore it too. The problem with the strongest feelings, such as love or anxiety, is that the usual mask isn’t enough, and my behaviour can tend to the contrary of my feelings, just for the sake of hiding. This is one of the reasons why I might seem cold from the outside. But all I am actually doing is trying to make sense.

When it rarely happens that I realize, the hard way, that I made a conceptual error that involves myself, I decide to talk about it to the one/two friends, on which I put my trust, to help me find the solution to the problem or at least a light, because I have to find the valid reason why a made that mistake so that I can trust my own intelligence again. But my friends wrongly start giving me empathy, compassion, human feelings. I don’t need these. I don’t want them. I need, I strive for logic, judgment, reasoned solutions.

I've had two 'sexual' relationships with no goal behind it other than pleasure. I've felt nothing both times and I feel like it is just something to do in my spare time. No one has ever been able to meet my needs. I need conversation and intellect.

If I'm insanely irked at someone I share a class with, I go out of my way to be better in said class than they are, whether they notice my success or not. I have discovered that this is because I'm trying to convince myself that I'm better off not thinking about them, but unfortunately it doubles as a final attempt to get said person to notice me.

Drawing to a close
Some of you might have noticed that the ask and submission boxes were recently closed. That’s because this blog will soon no longer be active. The past seven months have been fun, but neither of us two admins has the time to keep the blog running any longer. If I want to understand how someone close to me feels about a certain situation that I can't comprehend, I will research the hell out of it. Have people gone through this too? How did they get through it? How does it affect them? Then when I have the big picture, I'll make a plan about how to help them supported by prove methods suggested by people who have gone through it too.

I've started university this year. My ENTP friend and I study in different cities. We talked yesterday. She was complaining about me, because I made hers standards higher when it comes to contacts with people, so she have troubles with finding new friends. I've never heard something that nice in my life.

Although I don't like to admit it, I need people. But when so many encounters and potential friendships end in disappointment, it's easy to convince yourself that you can chronically handle being alone.

I dislike people forcing me to talk to them when I'm upset. I cannot put my emotions into words. It's like going to a person under torture and asking them, 'How are you feeling? Describe your pain.'
