this is a semi-independent jensen werewolf blog created by myself. i'm always open to IC asks for jensen in regards to pack life, roles and whatnot.

Jared watched Jensen, decided to give him a head start, despite wanting to just leave him to eat dust. 

Yeah, yeah. It’s fun to make you eat my dust.

He pushed off and began running up the hill, not bothering to stick to his plan of giving Jensen a head start.

Although they hadn't really started off together Jensen wasn't worried about the apparent lead that Jared had on him. After all while Jared might have grown up with him, he still didn't know the area as well as Jensen did. Or where all the latest holes in the hill were. That knowledge might give him just the advantage he'd need to maybe actually get ahead of Jared.

Well if you payed more attention during rounds, you'd know what was coming up next?

He shot back, shifting his course just slightly to avoid the various holes in their path looked like a ground squirrel mind field.

The younger wolf got into position to pounce, he was excited to get to run and the younger wolf gave a grumbling whine of a growl. 

Hurry up and start the race already, we know I’m gonna win Jensen. So, why are you even bothering?

Making a huffing sound he gave his head a shake before turning his gaze back to where Jared had settled into a position to pounce on him. The desire to get moving was starting to weigh on him as well and he couldn't hold himself back much longer.

Because it's fun? I've had a long day? And messin' with you is the only way I might actually stand a chance?

He offered in the way of an explanation before he dipped his head down and dug his claws into the ground underneath his paws to find better purchase to push himself off. But you're right. Lets do this. I'll still be cooking supper.

Jared was smug as he nudged his snout against Jensen’s and then nipped playfully at one fuzzy ear. The younger wolf pranced an excited circle around his friend and practically snickered.

So, what’re you gonna make for supper when you lose, Jenny? It has to be something really good.

Jensen could see the smugness in the way that Jared moved. From the way that he'd gone and nudged him in passing. He honestly thought that he was going to win and while it should have been a straight run from here to the top of the hill, Jensen wasn't going to let him think he already had it in the bag.

Jenny? For that maybe nothing. You can root through the garbage out back.

Jared gave a quiet laugh and easily slipped into his wolf form before following after Jensen, careful not to run into him so there wouldn’t be any injuries before they even reached the exit of the cottage.

You know you’re going to lose, right? I’m faster. Unless I run with a paw up and let you win. The younger wolf gloated.

It was a truth that Jensen really couldn’t argue with. Jared was the faster of them in wolf form hands down. But what Jensen lacked in speed he made up in brute strength. Something that had gotten him out of many scraps before. People wouldn’t look at him and think he had those reserves but he did. Regardless of that, it was clear to Jared that he’d missed the whole point of Jensen not really arguing the whole loser makes supper bit. Maybe he simply wanted to make him dinner and not have to make a whole big scene about it.

You keep telling yourself that. You might think you’ve got me beat but I may still have a surprise or two up my sleeve. Metaphorically speaking of course.

"Well, I did say or get dressed, not get dressed then shift.”Jared commented and then bit his lip before he leaned forward and pecked him on the lips. He pulled away and started peeling off articles of clothing. “I’m shifting now… You want to just got up to the top of the hill?”

"To the top of the hill is fine. Last person there cooks supper?" He challenged with a grin before shifting seamlessly into wolf form and making a run for the door knowing that Jared would be right behind him. These little games were their own way of keeping things interesting between them. Especially having been friends for so long it was nice to be able to play both sides of the spectrum sometimes.

Jared nuzzled his cheek to Jensen’s shoulder and nodded against his skin slightly. “Go get changed, or shift. We should take a run and shake our fur out.” He commented and then pulled back. “Because, I think we deserve it. There’s too much to do towards this whole thing.”

If they were going for a run, it made no sense to change into anything because he'd simply shred it as he changed forms. The mere mention of a run however brought forth an excitement inside of him that was only ever present during the runs. It was almost a childish joy the way he enjoying running. "I'll shift. No sense ruining a shirt." More than that Jensen just wanted to enjoy the evening with Jared without having to explain himself.

Elias gave a small nod, it wasn’t pleasant but, it was managed at least. “I have to be careful. It’s something I’ve dealt with for nearly all my life.” He shrugged it off and then hummed in thought. “So, a mechanic, huh? So, do you miss the older body styles?” He mused, trying to find something else to talk about.

Allistair couldn't imagine someone living with such a disease. Daily things would become so complicated and possible far more dangerous too. Absently his gaze dropped down to where the medical alert bracelet was shining as it reflected the light in the cafe. "Ah not so much. Classic models are actually all I work on."

Jared shook his head as he huffed softly. “No… I’m not expecting you to…  I’m worried, though.” He murmured and then closed his eyes. “I just wish this was easier for us. One wrong step and it feels like I’d ruin everything for you.” He admitted.

Jensen couldn't argue that fact. He wished it was easier too. He wished the elders weren't so stuck in their ways that they'd accept a more modern approach. Hell he'd wished over and over again that Jared had been handled differently. That he'd simply become pack. But that wasn't the case. Tightening his grip slightly wishing he could take that worry from Jared, Jensen huffed softly trying to console him as best he could. "Hey, don't let that sort of thinking take root. You'll never ruin anything for me. I love you far to strongly for that."

Laughing softly, he nodded and waved it off. “I know, it was a joke. I promise.” He was startled however when Allistair asked him what was wrong and it took him a moment to figure out what he was asking about. “Oh, I’m a hemophiliac. It’s mild. It’s mostly managed with medication.” He explained. “Assuming that’s what you’re asking about, anyway.” He pushed up the sleeve of his shirt to reveal a medical alert ID that had his condition and blood type detailed. “So, what do you do?”

Allistair nodded in understanding that Elias had only been joking about Allistair's desire to sweep him off into the night. If he only knew how tempting the offer truly was. Still Allistair wasn't in the habit of turning people against their will. It had to be their choice and not one taken lightly either. At Elias's explanation Allistair nodded once more. That would explain why it smelt differently to him. Almost lighter if that was possible. "That can't be pleasant I imagine." He mused softly before letting his hands come to rest on his lap. "Besides sleeping all day and partying all night?" He asked in response a grin pulling on his lips. "I'm a mechanic."

Jared felt the steam hit the room and wrinkled his nose at the moist heat suddenly in the air. He pulled over to Jensen and wrapped his arms around Jensen’s shoulders, scenting him hesitantly to make sure the other were’s scent was off of his future mate.

"Would you really go through with it though? It’s a big step…"

Jensen stayed still for a moment or so giving Jared the time he needed to make sure that the other were's scent wasn't on him anymore. As his arms wrapped around his shoulders, he let his hands slide down his back and come to rest on his hips keeping him close. While it was a big step, Jensen wasn't going to be backing down from it if it was the right thing for them.

"Are you expecting me to back out on my word? Jare really."

Elias curled his hands into fists at his sides, his fingers tended to get cold due to his health and clenching his hands helped get his blood flow to his hands be more normal. “I’m a kindergarten teacher. I’m not one to come out here really, a coworker dragged me along with him.” He laughed softly.

"It was a joke, really… The movies always have Vamps as a midnight visitor… It really was a joke, I’m sorry."

Regarding him with an amused look on his face, Allistair watched him a little closer shrugging the apology off soon as Elias had given it. "Hey don't worry about it. The movie's aren't always right. Just so you know." He inhaled and then let the breath out finding that imitating normal human motions usually settled them down. However that also made Allistair more used to the scent of Elias's blood and he realized that it wasn't normal. "What's wrong? I mean if that's not too forward of a question on my part."

"Get outta the shower, put on a towel, and come let me hug you." Jared demanded, a pout on his lips. He didn’t know how to begin, what to say aside from the fact that it was one possible option, very likely the most viable.

"It means a lot that you’d even consider it, Jense…"

Even with the wall separating them at the moment, Jensen could easily picture the pout that he knew was on Jared's lips. Flipping the shower off he made quick work of drying himself off mostly and wrapping the towel around his waist before moving over to the door and pulling it open letting the steam escape the room.

"Hey of course I'm going to consider it."

Elias gave a slight shrug of his shoulders and nodded back. “I suppose.” He said as he pulled his hand back and flexed his fingers, not enjoying the cold feeling that the vampire’s skin left. 

"You’re not going to spirit me off in the dead of the night, are you?" He joked lightly.

Allistair regarded him for a moment before he pulled his hand back. It wasn't like he really could explain to him what was going on. "What do you do? You don't seem like you're the kind of guy who frequents the hills too often." He asked trying to make light of the awkwardness that had filtered in with the temperature difference between them.

"What? No. Of course not. That's still considered a criminal offense."

Jared closed his eyes and then leant back against the door frame, head knocking briefly and he pursed his lips. He hated to even think about it but, he had an answer that came to mind. “It’s the elders mainly that don’t like me… On the other hand, if we’re not going to be accepted by the pack… Would you want to run off with me and form our own?”

He regretted saying it the second the words left his lips but, he felt like he needed to ask.

The sad part of their entire circumstance was the fact that there was no easy fix. While leaving the pack and running off might seem like an easy thing to do Jensen wasn't completely sure that he could. Could he actually go against everything he knew and leave it all behind? Was that even a viable option? It wasn't like they were talking about expanding the pack territory. This was talking about a complete break from the pack. Which naturally meant all pack resources.

The rational side of his mind was screaming at him to not even respond to that comment but he couldn't. Because really that might be the only viable option. "If it meant that I actually got to be with you without having to jump through hoops. Yes. Without a second thought."

Elias gave a hesitant glance from the vampire to his computer and then back, his heartbeat sped up a few extra beats and he licked his lips. He shook his head slightly when Allistair introduced himself and promptly added on that he wasn’t going to be bitten.

"I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t be tasty anyway." Or maybe he would, he wasn’t sure, after all he had a mild case of hemophilia. "I’m Elias, pleasure to meet you." He answered before he shook Allistair’s hand. "I still can’t get the feeling that you’re familiar somehow, out of my head."

Despite just how serious Elias had sounded as he spoke, Allistair couldn't quite stop the small smile that found it's way onto his lips at the comment. As Elias took a hold of his hand and shook it he resisted the urge to pull him in closer. That would do nothing other than scare him off and he'd waited more than long enough to find him again.

Shrugging his shoulders he pretended that he couldn't hear just how his heart beat had spiked slightly. "S'not your fault. I just have one of those faces I guess."

It hadn’t immediately clicked with him, the lack of color in the man’s skin had gone unnoticed at the first glance. But, seeing it now, he knew that the other man was a vampire. Yet, he stilled seemed so familiar, he wasn’t sure how though.

Isaac? Who was Isaac? Elias had to laugh and he shook his head slightly. 

"You must have me confused for someone else, I’m sorry… I just thought you looked familiar… Couldn’t place it. I’m not Isaac, though." He stated and stepped to the side to give them a little more space between them.

Regarding him with a look of confusion on his face for a moment, Allistair tried to get his brain to wrapped around how it was even possible for Isaac to be standing here. It was clearly him, even if he denied knowing the name. He smelt the same mostly, a little different than how he'd been when Allistair had known him before he'd been turned.

But the fact that there had been no recognition on Elias's part left Allistair with a nagging pit in his stomach and it wasn't until he's gone and confessed that he had thought that he'd look familiar did it seem to suddenly snap into place for him. Elias wasn't lying about not knowing who Isaac was. He simply didn't realize that he was Isaac. When he took a step to the side, putting some space between them Allistair finally realized that the human had at least realized that he was a vampire. There were still a few of their kind who just didn't fully accept that there were other things around them. "It's ok. I must have been mistaken. I'm Allistair." He offered in explanation as he slowly extended his hand towards the other in greeting. "C'mon, not like I'm going to bite you."

Elias wasn’t one to go out into the hills, he was there with a friend from work though. It was almost like it was depraved, being in such a scandalous city. The kindergarten teacher however, had been parted ways with Jacob to get some work done. He had some emails to answer, emails that would let him get a second job so he’d be able to keep food on the table, and he’d be able to sleep safe and warm in his apartment. 

Teaching wasn’t the easiest of things to do, the students tired him out, as much as he loved them. The pay wasn’t exactly high and gas took up most of his paycheck. He had to find another job, especially for the off season. 

When the computer next to him was taken, Eli turned to briefly glance at the stranger, always rather curious. He felt as if he knew the stranger but, had no idea as to where. Eyebrows knitting together, he turned his head back towards his screen and took a deep breath.

"Do I know you?" He asked hesitantly.

Allistair had been so engrossed in working through the various checkpoints the Nosferatu had set up to keep their information secured and protected that he hadn't even really registered that the computer next to his had been taken. Really it was strange than a normal mortal was speaking to him. Usually they did their best to keep to their own world and seeing as his kine was usually clinging to their own  sparse bits of Humanity left, he was just surprised that anyone in this dingy run down internet cafe had payed any attention to him. Inhaling once, he suddenly wished that he hadn't done such a thing as the spicy scent of the guy in question sitting next to him flood his nose and before he could even think about it he could feel that all too familiar burn starting in the back of his throat. If there was one thing he'd gotten used to by this point in his extremely long life, it was the never ending bloodlust. The desire to rip the man's throat out wasn't an uncommon thought these days and Allistair forced himself to mentally count to ten in hopes of putting the leash back on his inner beast. There were after all rules to follow and attend by. He however did allow himself a quick look. Just the slightest turn of his head when the question reached his ears and he knew what little color he had in his face from the last time he'd fed drained away completely. It had only been 60 years or so since he'd last heard that voice but he knew who it belonged too better than he knew himself. "Isaac? How? How is this even possible?"
