Hi! So I'm on my phone and I'm trying to access your rules page but the link isn't working. I also tried to search up "rules" in the tag but that didn't work either. Could you go over them please? I'm so sorry!
oof, sorry about that!I just checked the link and it turned out to be broken, it should be fixed now! I took screenshots of the rules and I’ll place them down below, hopefully that’ll be easier to read!
I was reading the rules and i was wondering if you can tell which ships you don’t like at all so we will not send request about them
Thank you for reading my rules! Now as for ships I don’t have that many but…Basically any ships that are [kid/teenager] x [adult] are a no-go for me. Two examples off the top of my head are [ Sinbad & Alibaba. ] or [ Sinbad & Kougyoku. ] I also will not write anything where any of the Ren siblings/cousins are shipped together. Hope this answers your question!
!!!
I nearly completely forgot about this sideblog, I’m sorry!
I have things in my askbox that I’ll be getting to over the weekend since today is a busy week for me! Thanks everyone for your interest!
I’m making this post because I wanna say thank you to the very small group of people that actually follow this blog now and those that like/reblog posts.
( I never actually thought people would pay attention to my writing at first !! )
I’ve actually really enjoyed writing what I've gotten so far, but right now my inbox is sadly empty.
so in hopes I get more to work with, I suppose this post can be considered a ‘ mini - promo ’.
And remember to check out the rules before sending something in.
If you have any questions regarding them, don’t be afraid to shoot me an ask either!
anonymous said: do you ship sinbad and jafar at all??? if not, just them being cute with each other works fine!!!!! any timeline works for this too
sort of! I don’t have any ‘otp’ for magi, so if i do ship something it’s not like my ‘favorite’ ship, because i don’t have one. but i hope this works!
Nearly everyone close to him knew of Ja’far’s odd sleeping habits, or rather, his lack of sleep in general. When night falls onto the kingdom of Sindria, the right-hand of the king dismisses all of his attendants, telling them that they need to get a healthy amount of sleep so that they can be fully prepared to work in the morning. This rule doesn’t apply to him, as he stays back to not only finish up and double check all the paperwork, but to also get a head start on the next day’s necessities.
However, he is still human and eventually the urge to rest catches up to him. The man sits at his desk lit only by the nearby candle, a hand trying to steady itself as it holds the quill.
( I’ll retire for the night after I sign this document ... )
That’s what he tells himself, but that’s been his thought for the past five others. Black eyes can’t help but occasionally close themselves, head of white hair threatening to settle itself on the desk, but every time he comes close to drifting off, Ja’far forces himself awake again. He’s finally pulled out of his odd state when a laugh reaches his ear, causing him to look up at the doorway, only to be startled by who was standing there.
“I’ve been calling your name for a while but you didn’t notice.”
Sinbad, with an eyebrow raised, glanced around the room for a moment before allowing himself in. His attire much different from usual, dressed down into the robes he wears for when he’s preparing to sleep, purple hair removed from turban and hair-tie. Ja’far blinks in confusion before realizing that it’s not only extremely late, but that he had forgotten the important task of briefing the king for tomorrow’s activities.
“Ah, Sin! I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have let it slip my mind. I’ll get the briefing prepared right now—”
“Huh? That’s not why I’m here. I was getting worried that I did something to make you angry when I realized you weren’t in my room.”
A smile on Sinbad’s face, glad that just tiredness seems to be the case for Ja’far not doing his routine. He can admit that he understands there’s times where his behavior gets on the other’s nerves, which is why he wanted to check in. Ja’far sighs at his words, shaking his head apologetically. To him, there’s no excuse for someone like him to forget.
“Oh, no. I would make sure to tell you if something was on my mind. It’s just this paperwork is … ”
There’s a hint of disdain in his eyes as he glares at the nearby pile, a look that would make a shiver go down Sinbad’s spine if he wasn’t used to that expression already. … He does feel bad, just a bit. A part of him imagines that he could take the burden off of his friend if he pitched in too, but another side tells him that Ja’far would just manage to somehow find more work. A hand pinching between eyebrows as he imagines how exhausted that would make someone, guess this is where he steps in.
“You’ve done a good job today. You should go to bed for the night.”
“But— …”
“Ja’far, as your king, this is an order.”
A playful grin on his face as the other stares at him, annoyance on the younger man’s visage. Before he can say ‘just one more signature’, the king of Sindria quickly plucks the quill out of the pale hand holding it. An exclamation in protest, but Sinbad won’t budge once his mind is set on something. He sets the quill on another desk nearby before walking over to Ja’far, who stood up once his item was taken from him. He’s almost pouting at having his means to do work taken away, but remembers how he holds more in his drawer.
Before Ja’far can retrieve another, Sinbad moves to his side, arms wrapping around and picking up Ja’far bridal style. The man is easily confused by the act, not knowing if he should flail or not, not wishing to accidentally hurt Sinbad. The king laughs, taking a few steps away from the desk, a sense of victory as he knows that if his right-hand man wanted to, he could easily escape his predicament.
“Come on now, you’re going to your room to sleep. It wouldn’t be good if the others came into work tomorrow morning and found the parliament official asleep at his desk, would it?
… Ja’far?”
Eventually he steps over to the doorway, intent of letting Ja’far down in hopes that he would walk away over to the tower where he sleeps, but golden eyes widened at the sight in his arms. It appears that his right-hand man was so tired at as soon as he was swept off his feet and out of that chair, he drifted off, face snuggled against robes.
The next day for them was awkward, with the king having to have carried one of his generals to their bed and with Ja’far remembering the last thing he saw before his sleep was a gentle smile on Sinbad’s face. That must have taken away all his nerves, and when he realized everything was alright, he went into a slumber.
What do you think Aladdin thinks of his parents in private after he finds out everything??? He's so mature but idk, maybe write out his inner feelings? :o
Aladdin was one who always thought he was different from everyone else around him. However, rarely did he ever convey those feelings of loneliness to anyone around him, he was the type to rather ponder alone in silence. Though, this started to change after he discovered a grand revelation about his origins, as today the young magi thought not about isolation but instead the connection he had with two very important people.
The two being King Solomon and Queen Sheba.
The boy had only known Ugo as his only companion for the longest time. To figure out that his closest friend knew both of his parents without telling him about them would usually make Aladdin a bit upset that the person he trusted the most would hold secrets from him. Instead, there was a small smile on his childish face. He knew that Ugo wanted to protect him from the pressure that would bring and wished him a peaceful life, just like Sheba wanted him to have.
He remembers watching back the scenes, his mother finding her purpose in life alongside people she called her friends. It reminds him of how happy he is by Alibaba’s and Morgiana’s side, how he can let go of his duties as a magi for even a second while laughing with them. He also remembers how in her last moments, she was thinking about him. Wanting him to be born in a time of peace and how she used her magic to enforce that possibility. A tiny sigh from the boy, silently telling himself that he needs to keep the prosperity of this world, not only for the people currently living in it, but for Sheba’s wish as well.
As for Solomon, Aladdin sympathizes with him. A person who wished for everyone to be treated equal who needed to push aside his personal feelings of not wanting to be a ruler for the sake of others. Sympathy is not the only thing the child feels, during the visions, he noticed how the man was eager to meet his son, even compiling a list of book to read to him. For a moment, Aladdin longed for that.
Just a quiet scene, with a father reading to his child as the mother listens nearby.
Something odd brings him out of this thought. A glimpse of his hair over his shoulder out of the corner of his eyes, realizing that the braid had started to become loose. Taking a second out of his thinking to tend to his hair, hands working at undoing the bottom part of the style to tighten it up a bit. As fingers start to separate the blue locks, his gaze wanders over to a nearby mirror and his movement stops.
A round face and large eyes. Long blue hair.Staring back at him is his face, he knows that.
But for the first time in his life, the magi can piece together that his features come from two people. Two very important people that Aladdin himself could not meet, but still loves nonetheless.
how about the ren siblings (that are alive) having a normal dinner and being awkward??
I set this so it’s after Kougyoku returns from Balbadd but before Sinbad himself visits the Kou Empire. :3c
It was rare for any of the imperial children to eat in the palace’s lavish dining room and not within the comfort of their own private dwellings. What made the scene even stranger was the fact that they were ALL seated together tonight, for tonight was a few days before the king of Sindria would come to visit Kou’s emperor and talk to him about the events in Balbadd. However, even with the multitude of servants and personal assistants nearby, there was a heavy silence in the air. Even though each of them are related by some means, in truth most of them aren’t at leisure to act like ‘normal’ siblings. The only exception to this was probably the princess Hakuei and her younger brother Hakuryuu.
Eventually all the bowls and silverware is placed on the table, along with the hot meals for each member of the family. A brief wave of the eldest one’s hand, and all servants are dismissed out of the room, leaving the six of them alone. The silence continues with the brief sounds of forks against the dishes.
The one to finally speak up first was Hakuryuu, but addressing only his elder sibling that was seated next to him.
“ … Sister, what kind of man is King Sinbad? ”
Turning her head to the side, Hakuei offers one of her signature kind smiles. Unknownst to them, the question catches the attention of the other princess, Kougyoku, seated across from Hakuei, peeking slightly over her sleeve to avoid her interest in the topic being noticed.
“ I haven’t met him myself so I cannot say for sure …
But if he’s willing to speak on behalf of Balbadd instead of resorting to taking up arms, I believe he’s a civil man. ”
The response brings a faint tint of red to Kougyoku’s cheeks, remembering back on her chance encounter with him. However whatever butterflies she was currently getting in her stomach were killed off by another prince, one who spoke quite loudly to voice his opinion.
“ Bleh, that sounds boring! I’d rather him come here with a sword and army, that’d be way more fun. ”
Kouha sticks his tongue out at the idea, his fork in hand pushing around his food before impaling a piece and putting it into his mouth. The comment gets a sigh from Koumei, in front of him not only an untouched plate but a scroll which he was immersed in, only to be brought out of it by the small amount of statements going around.
“ He wouldn’t do anything like that! King Sinbad is a kind and gentle man! ”
Kougyoku couldn’t just hold her tongue when that image crossed her mind, brows furrowed as she stared at the short prince, annoyance clear on her features. Both Hakuei and Hakuryuu stared at her, not expecting her to speak at all tonight. Kouha raised an eyebrow at her statement.
Soon realizing that all eyes were on her, the red-haired princess blinked before sheepishly bowing her head, long sleeves being helpful to cover the embarrassment of speaking up.
“ Don’t hide. You’re the only one here fit to speak on his behalf. ”
At the head of the table, Kouen makes his voice known. His face has a smirk on it, one Koumei knows too well. The prince known as Kouen Ren is suddenly interested in the conversation, wishing to hear more from the sister who has actually meet the famous ‘High King of the Seven Seas’.
Maybe tonight they’ll be able to speak together for the first time. After they all stop being slightly unnerved by the smile on a usually stoic man, of course.
The only one who doesn’t appear to mind are Koumei and Hakuei, the woman glancing over at him before speaking up.
I’ve come to create a blog for writing purposes related to Magi ( and SnB ), influenced by all the other fantastic ones that already exist and fans that have tons of ideas!
I’m also using this as an opportunity to improve my writing, so by giving me things you wish to read, you’ll also be helping me. It’s a win-win for both of us –
If you decide to check it out: please read the rules before sending an ask!
SO UH... how about a nice camp episode with original trio.. (plus hakuryuu i guess), talking about their feels and stuff.. :3c
Aw, this is cute. :’>
I’ll include Hakuryuu for this one!
The clearing of the forest was a perfect place for a tired group to unwind.
The four of them had managed to find suitable material for makeshift beds and eventually prepared a fire for them to enjoy their dinner. Their seats for tonight were larger logs, each one lucky enough to have their own as the flames warmed them. Despite planning for a quick meal to allow their sleepy selves rest, they found themselves laughing and chatting, the night filled with cheerful voices and the aroma of the blessing that happened to be Hakuryuu’s cooking.
“ This is so good! Hakuryuu, you have to teach me how to cook like this sometime! ”
“ Maybe one day. These skills might improve the luck you have at impressing women. ”
“ Huh?! ”
Just common banter between Alibaba and the prince of Kou, despite jabs at the blonde’s character, Hakuryuu wears a smile on his face. In turn, Aladdin sitting nearby couldn’t help but laugh after taking sips from his bowl. He may not look like it from his small size, but being the glutton he is, the bowl happened to be his third helping. Eventually the magi finished off that one, but before he could try for a fourth, his eyes lingered over to where the most silent member of their little team was.
Morgiana was quiet, but even now her silence seemed strange. What was even more strange was how her bowl was still filled to the brim with broth, something Aladdin had to peel his gaze from, lest the fanalis take offense to the threat of her meal being taken. Instead he was much more concerned about what she could be thinking about as she stared up at the sky.
“ Mor, are you okay? ”
A tilted to his head as he stared up at the female whose red eyes suddenly widened in surprise at being taken out of whatever trance she was in, soon returning her gaze to her friend. A tiny smile making way on her face as a way to reassure him.
“ Yes … I was just thinking about something. ”
“ What is it? ”
At this point the other two caught onto Morgiana’s odd behaviour, turning both of their attention to her as well. It takes her awhile to answer, shuffling her feet for a moment and staring down at her food before catching the reflection of what’s been holding her attention this whole time up above her. She raises her gaze once more.
“ … The stars. This is the first time I’ve seen them so clearly. ”
Alibaba is the first to look up after her words. Aladdin and Hakuryuu follow suit. The sky is void of any clouds tonight, leaving them under the starry night. She speaks the truth, until now they had usually been staying at inns or on ships, today was the first time the girl got to spend in the wilderness in the company of companions.
“ Wow, I almost forgotten about them. All those bright lights in Sindria must have blocked them out. ”
The group hums in agreement with Alibaba, all pairs of eyes on the twinkling of lights that was years away from all of them. They can’t help but allow the serenity to bring happiness on their features, each with their own smile. Eventually the quiet kicks in, no one during to talk in order to bring them out of this very moment. Whatever thoughts they’re having at the same time is unknown, but one can imagine they’re nothing but peaceful.
“Ah! Look!”
Pointing a finger, Hakuryuu brings their attention to the what can only be described as a shooting star. Thankfully, the group managed to spot it, with or without the boy’s help. Aladdin gives a small clap of his hands before turning to Morgiana. Alibaba follows up with a wide grin on his face.
“ Mor, hurry up and make a wish! ”
“ Yeah, yeah! What’s your wish? ”
A startled look at his sudden demand, fumbling over her words as a blush shows her fluster. Her cheeks puffing up as she ponders before her voice blurts out her answer. A sudden proud spark in those sharp red eyes as the female’s decided on what her answer is going to be.
“ I wish that I can watch the stars with everyone again one day! ”
The three males nod together at her answer. In truth, they all wished the same thing. If they had the chance again, they wouldn’t mind spending time like this on a day like this.
… Of course, Hakuryuu needed to resist the urge to correct them by saying that wishes were to be kept silent. It wouldn’t be him that ruins Lady Morigana’s night that he hoped would be a special memory for her.
