genuinely unbelievable to me that people really think we've 'moved on' from covid.

we've collectively avoided thinking about covid, we've collectively buried our heads in the sand about covid, we've collectively been traumatized by covid (to different degrees), we've collectively denied both the damage done thus far and that in 2026 covid is still a real and deadly sars virus, we've collectively not linked new long term health issues to having had covid despite it being linked in the research to all kinds of damage - even asymptomatic infection (without symptoms), which is why us few 'crazy' (pathologized) people still masking feel that it is important, we've collectively denied that covid IS (not was) a mass disabling event...

we've collectively avoided engaging with the realities of covid.

but we have not 'moved on' from covid.
