One thing I love about the Barbie movie from what we've seen so far is that it kept the diversity of modern Barbie but not the McCafe aesthetic of modern Barbie. I feel like Mattel defeminizing the brand the moment it became more than just skinny white Barbies sends the wrong message. Hopefully this will change things.
