That last part of Fern saying that's what frieren would do so she does it was the best way to end this season. Love that Frieren is now inspiring others to do things like Himmel.

Though I think since Frieren is the protagonist this was definitely coming someday.

Of course in the future I think Fern or Stark would say that's what frieren would do like how Eisen, Heiter and Frieren says that's what Himmel would have done.

Himmel inspired Frieren to be better and leave the world a better place. He inspired Eisen and Heiter to be better as well, in which they both took on desciples that directly tie back to Frieren.

And now... Frieren inspires Fern to be better.

I saw your Snowball Effect post. Why is no one talking about how Emma's eyes are blue in the book but not on the cover? The mismatch is breaking the immersion for me. It's important for me to know what the MCs look like reliably

I honestly agree with you, the illustrator nailed Emmas grumpy gaze and curves and I am quite happy with the drawing of Regan, but I generally am much happier with this fan drawing of Emma that captures her hair color better ("between dark blonde and light brown") plus shows her blue button-up with Regan from @kendle.readraws on instagram:
