Something to take the edge off
If you’re learning a language, learn the International Phonetic Alphabet. Yes it’s not perfect, but it’s much better than “English-y” pronunciation guides, and works for every language.

a chance to relax ? it's less likely than you think
academic bias is so funny because you’ll be reading about the same historical event and one person is like “Despite the troubles that befell his homeland and near constant criticism of the court King Blorbo remained strong in the face of adversity” and the other one is like “after letting his people carry the brunt of his cringefail decisions Blorbo the Shitface refused to listen to any reason and continued to be a warmongering piece of shit. Also he was ugly.”

for those who don’t know, there is a pokemon alphabet (that’s used in the anime as well as some cards)
Oh time for extremely specific Pokemon knowledge!:
That's not "the" Pokemon alphabet. That's just the Anime-specific Unovan alphabet, used in the generation 5 anime Best Wishes. It's far from the only alphabet used in the franchise. In fact, there are more than 15.
This chart contains only some of the languages invented for Pokemon series. A lot of languages are still being translated, such as the Galarian/Paldean script, which clearly fell victim to some development issues (oh what a shock). Clearly some people in the Pokemon company have a great love for conlangs, but not everyone on the design team shares their passion.
If you'd like to learn more, Nick15 and many other amazing people over at PokemonAAAH! do research on some of Pokemon's most obscure secrets, and their language efforts are still under way! I highly recommend you check them out.

names not numbers
The Palestinian Ministry of Health released a report on Thursday, including the names of more than seven thousand Palestinians who were martyred in the Israeli bombing of the Gaza Strip.

These are not just names, but people killed in the midst of a brutal war. Remember their names.
