A warm and creamy pasta dish with tender chicken, healthy broccoli, and a rich Parmesan cream sauce.
Ingredients: 8 oz shell pasta. 2 cups broccoli florets. 1 lb chicken breast, diced. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 tbsp olive oil. 1 cup chicken broth. 1 cup heavy cream. 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: Follow the directions on the package to cook the pasta. Just before the end of the cooking time, add the broccoli. Remove the water and set it aside. Warm up the olive oil in a big pan over medium-high heat. It will take about 5 to 6 minutes of cooking after adding the diced chicken until the chicken is no longer pink. Add the minced garlic to the pan and cook for another minute or two, until the garlic smells good. Heavy cream and chicken broth should be added. Turn the heat down to low and let it cook for 5 minutes, until it gets a little thicker. Add grated Parmesan cheese and mix it in until it melts and is well mixed in. Add pepper and salt to taste. When you add the cooked broccoli and pasta to the pan, toss everything around so that the creamy sauce covers everything evenly. If you want, you can top the hot dish with extra Parmesan cheese.
