This is so wholesome! And I love that the release of Project Hail Mary and the timing of the Artemis II launch crossed so we can get content like this. It's a great time to be a space fan!

I made a little bag!
A friend of mine wanted some help with learning how to sew bags and overcoming her fear of zippers, so I found a free bag pattern that she liked and we got together to make it.
The fabrics are all from the stash; the Viking ship fat quarter was a gift from another friend. The charm is a key ring that I bought years ago at the Royal BC Museum when they had a Viking exhibit (I was a little bit obsessed with Vikings for a bit there, which is why my friend got me that lovely fabric).
The pattern that we used was the free Cuckoo Flower Crossbody Bag, and I recommend it. The instructions were clear and well-written, with good pictures for each step. You can't see it clearly in the photo, but the finished bag has an outer zip pocket and a divided inner slip pocket. So it's not a pattern for a super beginner, but it is absolutely doable if you have a little sewing experience and a basic sewing machine with a zipper foot.

Been spending time finishing projects I started years ago, this Rowlete bag being one of them! Everything is handmade including the strap. Bag is about 9 inches in length and width, with a depth of 8cms.
Really should post stuff I've been working on. Finally have an environment where I can work on my sewing projects, so I've been able to get projects done

Here we have a Ultramarine Drednaught plushie, it's as big as a head pillow. Thought it looked funny in the last image 🤣

Was talking with my friends which eventually led to the idea of Magnus the Red as a Lawyer, and I had to draw it. Really happy with how he looks.
Watched all of Nyan Neko Sugar Girls, and thought the ending was so funny I had to recreate it with my sona
Hi, I make small square ita bags, and regular bags too.
