There is a guide on how to ask in my bio and one thing that just makes me a bit more happy when answering an ask is a short Hi! at the beginning. Doesn't need more, just makes me happy, since I'm spending quite some time on these asks. But like I said, just cause you said you're unsure about how to ask.
