Falloween.
Fall Fling. Westchester, NY.
While out for a run I came across a lovely nursery that was perfectly outfitted for fall and Halloween.
A walk in the park. Copenhagen, Denmark.
Copenhagen is such a lovely city. I fell in love with the Danish charm of it all.
Copenhagen, Denmark. View from the water taxi in the canals of Denmark.

A quick morning painting. This is more of a fantasy than reality. I am currently in NY surrounded by buildings. Wishing I was on a beach with friends. Since this is a fantasy, let’s say this is me in Corsica!
Watercolor. Hoping to finish my water colors and get some gouache, because that’s really what I want to paint with. I am trying to be responsible and not waist what I have!
Cycling around Hoi An, Vietnam with my friends. Funnnnn and freeeee! I am missing this. <3
As you can see in the video I am very chic and proper and I always act like a lady. ;-)
Vietnam adventure!!!!!!!!
Me and my frands in Vietnam! These pics were taken in Hoi An. We rented bicycles and rode them to the beach. We had breakfast at a vegan cafe on the beach called, The Fisherman Vegan. The cafe is right on the beach so we took the opportunity and dipped our toes into the water. Afterwards we went sightseeing around town on the bikes.
After riding around for a while we went to lunch at Bale Well Restaurant. This was a no frills joint that turned out to be one of THE BEST MEALS OF MY LIFE. Staff bring out various types of fillings. Egg rolls, omelets, leafy greens, pork, sautéed vegetables, chicken, and sauces. You then make your own spring roll with the rice paper they provide. Mmmmmhhhmmmmm, Chefs kiss. So good!
These pictures are throwbacks as I am feeling nostalgic for my friends, travel, and general freedom.

I’ve been a bit more anxious and sad lately. I think it has something to do with the state of the world. Covid-19, countless injustices towards Black and brown communities, and just the news in general gives me great sadness and anxiety.
I’ve been a bit more detached from media lately. I’ve also been painting more. It really helps me find my creativity and disconnect from this super charged world. Here is a water color of a scene close to Woodstock, NY.
I am aiming to pick up my paints and create more going forward.
Morocco Desert.
These were taken on a road trip to the Sahara. Me and my friend had purchased a package on the internet where you get to spend the night in the Sahara Dessert. During the outing, local Berber families entertain you and cook you traditional Berber meals. In order to book this experience you have to WESTERN UNION $200 and change to a tourism company in Morocco. And in order to get to the Desert a personal driver shows up in Marrakech and then drives you to the Sahara, which takes 2 days. We thought, “Sounds pretty legit! Let’s do it!!!” =)
We were a bit trepidatious but the company had good reviews on Trip Adviser. We had a great time. It was a such a fun adventure and I would do all over again in a heartbeat. If you ever get the chance to visit Morocco, spend a night or two in the Sahara Desert. It’s a breathtaking experience.
Tortilla making in the Mercado Guamilito in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. A lively market where you can get lost in the endless stalls and get souvenirs, local drinks, clothes, trinkets, and food. Here you see local women making tortillas at full speed. It’s such a beautiful art. I am Honduran and I sadly cannot make tortillas. Cry.
I love how natural it is for these women to make these delicious and soft tortillas. It’s such an art form.
