A word of wisdom from the swamp monster.

My sense of humor might be a bit morbid to think of it. But today’s daily prompt was “Swamp” and I saw this pretty fella on the Pinterest. The rest is evident.

Successfully finished cat lamp!

I thought it would be quite fascinating to make fantasy inspired tool powered by magic and here we are.

The little flame spirit wouldn’t necessarily always look like a cat but it happened to be one of the favorite forms for mages to use. It doesn’t require food but you can feed it wood chips or small coals to support the spell if you so happened to not have mana. You can let it out of the lamp but be wary – it is a flame spirit after all.

I felt a bit mischievous yesterday and made a small animation instead of an illustration for the daily art prompt. It took me about 2 hours because I’m very much a beginner in animation. The software used is Procreate.
