What’s an In real Ink blog:
Basically, it’s a special type of roleplay blog where the character(s) post as if they own the blog and live in the Splatoon world. You don’t need to draw responses if you don’t want to. IRI is a play on the word IRL.
You can make your own IRI blog and interact with me, or not (I’ll still respond to other blogs)! I don’t exactly own the concept at all, so feel free to join me however you’d like to (or do it on your own!). Rules above are not set in stone, they are just how my own blog functions.
No NSFW. NSFW jokes are funny, but nothing overtly NSFW. I am not interested.
You’ll have to clear with me first if our characters are friends already or not. Otherwise, I will respond to yours as if I don’t know you at all or not very well.Â
No hi/hug asks unless you include a conversation starter. I’m not gonna do small talk, IC or otherwise haha. I will respond to DMs IC if you reach out IC.

You can send me an ask or make a post and @ me if you want to interact with the character(s) on the blog! I’ll likely respond to pretty much any kind of blog. But do note, this is not a multi universe blog, it’s not set so that my character can randomly show up in a Pokemon blog’s universe for example. It’s being treated as if this blog is owned and run by a character, who is behind the screen typing things. They do not exist within the blog itself, they *own* the blog. Ask-blogs that aren’t similar will be seen as a roleplay attempt by Dess, at least.
Likewise, I won’t roleplay us battling or going on a walk. I will be able to talk about it as if it happened, but I can’t roleplay the encounter itself. This is a somewhat specific type of RP account, sorry!
Happy holidays everypod..! I mostly spent today with my family, I'm glad I can just relax tomorrow. I like spending time with my family and all but it can become a lot very fast...
I got a few booster packs today and pulled The Hype Manta Storm - Big Man card, also! So I'll take it as a sign to pick his team that was rumoured for January~
I'm so glad that Big Run is over, I was too afraid to leave my house when I saw the news and sky and I really wanted to try my luck at some shellout pulls the other day...
Just heard about the modified Splashdown coming to Splatlands' approved specials list rumour. I think it's cool that it's coming back in a way, I feel like it was a sort of staple in Inkopolis Plaza. The fists are kind of weird, though... But I'm sure it'll feel fun to use..!
It'snear Splatoween so I was checking out the Arowana Mall for any themed merch I could find, and I think because of the Splatfest leaks a lot of cephs are selling so many skeleton Inkling and Octolings... I even saw a skeleton Jelly...
Did anyone else participate in the challenges the other day? I only got to play one slot because the other two were so early and late for me... I was happy with my Shellout Token but you only get one..! If I knew, I would have kept it...
I also didn’t realise what the challenge was until I was swimming too slow haha...
Can’t wait to open these packs I got from a small shop in Inkopolis! I decided to hoard them and open them all at once next week. I even got a Fresh pack!
While the Splatfest player difference was pretty crazy, and cephs seem pretty upset about the results this go around, and I hit my head... I pulled Lil’ Judd’s card shortly after I finished my last round for the fest! I think I have enough of the card pieces to upgrade one to Fresh here soon, but I can’t figure out which one to upgrade...

new splatfest announced. controversial opinion, none of them are real and theyre a buncha dumb fairytales for dumb paralarvae. suffice to say, im on team alien, cuz outta all the fakes that one's the least fake. i mean, a weird whale and a hairy guy? really?? cringe
That’s a bit mean, Avery was just expressing their opinion on the themes. Besides, they’re not even confirmed yet, it was just the leak (even if the leakers are always right...).
I think the themes are kinda funny, but that’s usually how they are, but yeah they’re just fairytales told to young cephalopods.Â
Sorry for being away for a while, I forgot the password to my blog and Tumblr logged me out... But I found it, so it’s all good now!
Horrorborus was so scary, I couldn’t go to Inkopolis because my parents wouldn’t let me, and it appeared so soon after the train was up that I haven’t been able to go yet. They won’t let me go until they’re sure it’s gone for now, but soon I’ll be able to head over there and check out the shops and stuff.
Oh wow, congrats to White Chocolate for the total knockout..! You guys really hit it out the park this fest. I’m surprised they won every category..!
