March 21 one of favorite performers - Victoria Canal - is taking over the Iridium NYC stage. $20 cover / 8:30pm showtime. In 2014, Canal was the winner of the Eddie’s Attic biannual Songwriter Shootout, which one of her inspirations, John Mayer won in 1999. She was chosen to be one of six YoungArts National Finalists as a singer-songwriter . A U.S. Presidential Scholar in the Arts in 2015, Victoria’s independently-released soulful debut EP “Into the Pull” has garnered over 3 million plays on Spotify and has been praised by the likes of Alessia Cara, as well as having charted at £6 on Billboard’s “Next Big Sound” . She has toured the Southeast of the U.S. twice and is #1 on Reverbnation in the Netherlands, #96 globally. In 2015 Victoria hosted an Open Mic Tour along the east coast of America with 13 dates, raising 5,000 meals for SERV International for people in need. Victoria has since moved to London to begin working on recording her Debut Album. Fired by her pensive lyrics and stunning vocals, 2017 is set to be a standout year for the young artist.
