her eyes drift shut and she takes a slow, deep breath. biting into her lip, she nodded; he was right and it wasn’t fair for her to put him in that position. posey swallows thickly and she relaxes into his frame as his arms wrap around her frame. he continues to speak and her heart feels like it’s breaking. “ – i don’t want you to have to run forever, either,” she whispers. “i want that with you, felix. i have from the beginning. i just…” she pulls away and presses the heels of her hands against her eyes. he’s swiping away her tears and she moves to hug him again. “i’m sorry for doing this to you. i’m sorry for coming. i’m gonna let him find me, just not here. i’ll explain everything to him. can i just rest here for a bit before i go back?” she asks and pushes hair behind her ears. there’s a sniffle and she’s still crying, but it was quiet. there was no sobbing, no noise. it was just tears rolling down her cheeks and she shakes her head. “i love you. i love you so much…i haven’t stopped. it’s only gotten stronger and i want you to know that. you didn’t deserve what my dad did or said to you. it wasn’t your fault that i fell for you or that i came on to you.” posey rests her hands against each side of his neck and she hesitates for just a moment before leaning up and pressing a kiss to his lips. it’s been so long. it’s been too long. god…she missed that delicious feeling at the pit of her stomach and the way her heart raced for him.
felix can't help but scoff slightly at her , not to offend but he can't help but think how ridiculous she sounds right now , talking about how she was going to let her father find her and then talk to him ? ' you know how stupid that plan sounds , right ? there is nothing good that could come from that . ' what was her father going to do when she was caught and talked to him ? surely it wouldn't be shared over a couple drinks but definitely would end up with a struggle . ' you aren't going to get caught & he isn't finding you . don't be reckless . ' he reached up , brushing his thumbs over her cheeks to wipe the tears , shaking his head no . he wasn't going to allow something to happen to her , especially since he had already seemed to abandon her & left her at the mercy of her father . ' I love you too & i don't blame you for what your father did , but I do think that we should've been a little more careful . ' he frowns as he drops his hands from her face but the loss of contact was short lived as she had reached up and pressed a kiss to his lips and he returned it easily and happily . ' but i don't want to run anymore . ' he spoke in between kisses .

“yes, i am to go on break,” she murmurs and put away her work. she stands up and laughs, “virgin wine?” rue asks and bites into her lip. she gives a quiet sigh and wrinkles up her nose, “fine. i will go out to lunch with you. unless you’d like to come down to the hospital cafeteria?” rue hums and grabs her bag, placing it over her shoulders. “i have an hour, so we need to stay close…the cafeteria may be the best place to do this wining and dining.”
she can't help but laugh when she makes the comment about virgin wine , lips press together as she nods her head yes . ' yes , virgin wine . but i was thinking along the lines of grape juice . ' there was a brief moment where she wasn't sure if she was going to agree to have lunch with her but then she says yes & without thinking she did a silly little finger guns pose at her . ' cool shit !! ' a laugh falls from her lips again as she looks over her shoulder at where she had come from , gesturing for her to follow . ' you know what ? now that you say it , hospital cafeteria food is definitely my favorite , how did you know ? ' poppy feels like a teenage girl with the way she can't stop smiling , but it doesn't sway her . ' their classic lime green jello ? mmm !! ' she brings her fingers to her mouth and kisses them . ' chefs kiss , bloody brilliant !! '

best friend and her gf broke up . the ex gf is OBSESSED with me and has been making my life MISERABLE for literally a MONTH . Now with this break up , the harassment HOPEFULLY will stop and I will be around more .

“he did not have every right,” she murmurs, giving him a look of exasperation. she folds her arms across her chest and she digs her teeth into her lower lip. her heart races in her chest the moment he finally says her name and she is desperate to move even closer to him. “i don’t mean…i don’t want to want to run away from you. it’s why i’m here, felix. i was running from him. from them…that whole life. if i run away again, i would be taking you with me…” her hands tremble and she doesn’t wait, she throws herself into his arms, hugging him so tightly. more tears prick her eyes and she squeezes them shut. he felt warm and she breathed him in. she was so incredibly in love with him and it hadn’t stopped. it had only gotten stronger. “please…i’ll stay until i can’t anymore.” posey pulls away to cup his face between her hands. she wants to say she loves him, but she was afraid it wouldn’t be said in return. she swallows thickly and presses a kiss to the corner of his mouth, letting it linger a little. “i believe i missed you more than you missed me,” she whispers and tilts her head to the side, but her lips curl up into a gentle smile.
there were too many thoughts that came to mind when it came to Posey & her family . about the risk that was run when he had come in contact with her , but damn he couldn’t find it in himself to care much . all he wanted was her but it was hard for him to allow himself to open up . if he opened up , if he had let her in , what would it do to him if he had been forced to leave her again ? ‘ i don’t want to run forever , Pose . ‘ he breathes out gently as his arms wrap around her , holding her close to him as he looks down at her and allows her to take his face in her hands . ‘ i want a life where i can settle down , start a family . how long are we expected to run for ? ‘ he wasn’t mad at her , he wasn’t accusing her , but the fight was dragging on and he was getting exhausted . ‘ you can stay , you are always welcome to stay . ‘ thumb moves to brush under her eye , seeing how tears were brimming there & he didn’t want to see her cry . ‘ i can’t even explain how much i’ve missed you . it’s just hard to allow myself to feel it in case you have to leave again . ‘

his words sting her – he calls her miss rigazzo instead of posey and her heart sinks into her stomach. she’s almost trembling and follows him into his home. she pulls her boots off and takes the towel to dry off. he asks why she left and she bites into her lower lip, “i couldn’t deal with it anymore, felix. i really couldn’t. and i could never forgive him for threatening you the way he did. he had no right. i really couldn’t think of anyone else to go to. i promise they don’t know i’m here, but they may put two and two together at some point.” posey takes the clothes and starts peeling her wet clothes off in front of him. he’s seen her in every form of dress, so it didn’t bother her. when she pulled on his clothes, she walks over to him and tears stain her cheeks. “ – i missed you,” she whispers.
‘ he had every right . ‘ he spoke clearly , but he doesn’t allow his words to hold much weight . he was her bodyguard & he was meant to keep her safe , not to fall in love with her . he quickly takes her clothes , wanting to find any reason to pull his gaze away , to not be disrespectful , but with her having undressed entirely he knew she wasn’t wired --- not that he had expected her to be . but some guys would easily threaten their daughter as long as they got what they wanted . he comes back and she’s crying & his heart breaks , fingers twitching as words seemed to break and confess that she’s missed him . ‘ i am afraid to say i’ve missed you too , posey . ‘ her name tastes so incredibly sweet on his tongue , but nothing has ever come as close to being as sweet as her . ‘ i do not want to miss you if you’re goin to run away . if you plan to leave me , i’ll get you a cab & a hotel . but if you stay --- ‘ he breathes out heavily as he rubs his face hard , carding his fingers through his hair .

the moment his door opens, the girl looks up at him and her heart feels like it’s going to explode. she’s damp from the rain and she shakes her head, “ – i didn’t know where else to go. i ran away,” she breathes out and wraps her arms around her frame. tears glisten in her eyes and she looks away for a moment. “please, felix. he’ll have everyone out looking for me and i can’t go back.”
