This is a sideblog of @blaze-art and @antonymphdraws where I post anything and everything related to my Dandy's World retake: "Dandy's World: Garden of Sin". From artwork, to fanfiction, to AUs, to memes, to shitposts. It's all here!
*Not actually a fangame as I do not have the time, patience, or expertise to make one. This more of a mockup if it was a fangame.

Heads Up!
I am in my twenties, so I will not get chummy with minors. I don't mind if minors follow and reblog stuff from here however. While I am an adult, I do not wish for any NSFW, kink, and/or fetish blogs to interact with my self.
This blog revolves around a mascot horror game so horror themes WILL be present (mainly violence, gore, body horror, black "blood (ichor), and death) on some posts.
Standard DNI criteria applies. Especially no proshippers/anti-antis, I don't want your nasty asses here! Oh and I especially don't want anti-oc, anti-oc x canon, or cringe culture supporters here either, you're not welcome!
I'm a multishipper so I don't wanna hear any ship bashing or shipping war nonsense. I also don't wanna hear any discourse over headcanons, capeesh?
Does Waxwell ever feel envious of characters like Peri and the rival characters, as they are genuinely malicious (well, some of the rivals are) compared to him?
I definitely think so, since most of them actually succeed in their plans for the most part… At least until the situation is remedied or they are defeat.
Most of the villainous/antagonistic characters see Waxwell as a joke and/or not worth their time (Peri, Bella, Selene, etc).
Odio and Luci are the exceptions. Luci is flattered that Waxwell looks up to her, buuuuuut also doesn’t like the fact he tries to her. And Luci is not above messing with Waxwell.
Odio and Waxwell do get along for the most part. Though Odio is like “Dude, I’m doing this because I’m dealing with stuff, you do not wanna be like me.”

Appearance
Qwerty is an electric blue computer monitor with a black screen. Her facial features are a cyan color and her limbs are grey. She has a retractable tail with a blue computer mouse at the end of it. Her torso is the same electric blue as her head, as well as her forearms and legs from the knees down but above her feet. Her arms, neck, legs, and abdomen are a dark gray color, with her arms, neck, and legs having black lines on them. She also has a hatch on her chest, where her wires and internal functions can be accessed.
She wears a blue sleeveless vest with two darker blue circle buttons over a white long sleeved undershirt as well as a cyan necktie. She also wears a black skirt with a blue line on it, as well as a pair of blue flats.
During blackouts, she emits a blue glow. When hit by a Twisted, a blue error screen with a white frowny face emoticon appears on her face. This changes depending on what skin she’s wearing.
Personality
Qwerty is a very intelligent toon who loves to learn about new things. They speak in a mostly formal or semi-formal manner, often using big words. Otherwise, she is usually a chipper, humble, helpful, and jovial Toon that’s polite and amicable towards others (even to Toons like Shrimpo and Luci).
Similar to Vee, Qwerty can be rather blunt and come off as insensitive, but she never means it maliciously. Qwerty is quite literal-minded and matter-of-fact, not seeming to understand sarcasm, figures of speech, or metaphors. Qwerty is also usually the opposite of opinionated, since she's not good with subjectivity. She rarely forms her own opinion on things, preferring instead to default to either purely objective standpoints, or just follow the opinions of "the majority".
Despite her jovialness, Qwerty hides a worry and fear of being rendered useless by being overshadowed by her “sister” Vee, which came about due to the updates to Vee that gave her functions once exclusive to Qwerty, thus making Qwerty feel like she was losing what made her unique. As such, Qwerty does harbor a bit of envy for her, though she still (platonically) loves Vee despite that. This is similar to Bassie and her worry of being replaced, just for different reasons.

Twisted Qwerty
"One of the main characters of Dandy’s World. Maddened by the loss of her purpose and identity, hiding from this Twisted will prove difficult as her new wings give them an airborne advantage. She will also attempt to distract and stall Toons with worthless pop-ups and puzzles on the machines while she goes in for the kill.”
Rank: Main
Speed: Average (18)
Attention Span: Above Average (2)
Detection Range: Extremely High
Twisted Qwerty is a large roaming Twisted, who’s detection range is very high due being airborne, her attention span is also above average because of this. Every 45 seconds, Twisted Qwerty will unleash three pop-up ads on every Toon. These pop-ups will have a red “X” button on the top right corner of them, which can be clicked on to close the pop-ups. These pop-ups cover the screen and will cover up any skill checks that are being done. The pop-ups do not go away on their own and will linger for as long as the player lets them.
Twisted Qwerty’s secondary mechanic is implementing special puzzles on the machines that are required to be completed before beginning to extract from it. These puzzles include but are not limited to;
Jigsaw
Numberlinks
Crossword
Maze Game
These puzzles are indicated by blue screens plastered on the machines, similar to the “Swimmy Barnaby” machines. Once the puzzle has been completed, it does not have to be done again.
Due to being an airborne Twisted, Twisted Qwerty is immune to floor traps set by Toons such as Tibia’s bone traps and Chillian’s puddles.
The sound of Twisted Qwerty’s footsteps are instead the sound of flapping wings, and they will make a glitchy computer error sound upon spotting a player. She also leaves a trail of ichor behind her.
Twisted Research Trinket: Floppy Disc
Trinket Category: Extraction
Increases Extraction Speed by 5% after a machine is completed. Stacks up to 50%. Resets after every floor.
Trivia/Headcanons/Lore
Unlike Vee, who uses batteries, Qwerty can plug her tail into a socket to recharge herself.
When “asleep” (recharging) or staring off into space, her screen displays a random screensaver such as the 3D Maze or 3D Toasters.
Qwerty is sadly banned from ever playing in Vee’s gameshow, due to her high intelligence as a computer. She does work behind the scenes of the gameshow however, doing all the tech stuff for it.
While they’re not biologically siblings, she and Vee are siblings “in spirit”.
Twisted Qwerty’s design is based on the Mannanangal from Filipino Folklore
Just like with Vee, Qwerty will short circuit if she comes into contact with water, hence she can’t be close to Finn.
Qwerty became more and more paranoid with the updates Vee was getting throughout the years. As Vee began to function more and more like a computer, Qwerty became worried that Vee would eventually take over her educational role (since Vee doesn’t have one technically), rendering Qwerty “useless” and lead to being booted/scrapped from the show. The shift away from education (seen in Finn’s TV video) and the “Vee Version 2” upgrade in the later years made this paranoia even worse.
Despite the resentment that grew thanks to the updates, Qwerty still loved/loves Vee as her sister.
Qwerty became a Twisted when she went to look for Vee, who was taken to get upgraded. Qwerty discovered Vee in the process of twisting, she tried to help her, but was slain when Vee fully transformed into a Twisted.
Qwerty can be used as an actual computer. She keeps a keyboard in her hammerspace for this purpose.
Qwerty will still interact with Toons when they're using her. Usually by helping with stuff like spelling errors when typing, providing hints while they're playing games, or even acting as a second player when they're playing two-player games. In fact, this was how she and their handler, Quincy, would often hang out together.
It should be noted Qwerty can see what you're doing when you use her. So...be mindful of what you use her for.
Qwerty will sometimes display emoticons on her screen to show how she's feeling (Ex: , , :0, XD, etc). They don't appear when she's talking however.
Like Vee, Qwerty has a built-in translator so she can speak and translate any known language, including Blot’s backwards speech.
Qwerty does not like being called “Blue Vee”, “Vee 2”, “Second Vee” or anything along those lines, since she feels it undermines her unique personhood.
Similar to Vee, Qwerty speaks in a unique font. However hers is the “Videotype” font instead of the “Press Start 2P” font that Vee uses.
Qwerty’s “uniqueness crisis” was based on an update Vee got in the original “canon” game. Qwerty’s active ability used to be that she could highlight machines where Vee only highlighted Twisteds at the time. However Vee’s active ability was later buffed to also highlight machines, causing Blaze-On-Fire to have to change Qwerty’s active to be an auto-extracting ability.
Whenever Qwerty speaks “in game”, she makes the Windows XP hardware insert sound.
Qwerty is friends with Sam, who often plays the video games Qwerty has on her system.
Hence Sam’s the completion of their Mastery Quests being required to unlock Qwerty.
Do Waxwell and Candelle get along with each other?
Mmmm…Yes and no.
Obviously, Waxwell doesn’t get to see Candelle too often, since she is a Christmas Toon.
But when is December, Candelle is usually annoyed by him. She does not want him to bother her or her employees (Ticker and Geo) whats him to work for her company like Ticker and Geo do. For she believes he’ll do better with that than being a “wannabe villain”. Waxwell, of course, stubbornly refuses.
BUT, if you can believe it. Candelle does promise to get Waxwell Christmas presents if he successfully messes with/pranks the other Christmas Toons. (She doesn’t get the presents from Bobette of course, she gets them herself or gets Ticker and Geo to do it.).
Even if he fails at that (which he usually does), Candelle gets him at least one present for him. Perks of having rich auntie.
Waxwell: The center is doomed, Detective Rodger! I’ve poisoned the water supply!
Rodger: Actually, because you poisoned the water supply, we discovered that the center’s pipe infrastructure is really severely outdated. So thank you for bringing our attention to that, many people could’ve gotten really sick over the next couple of years.
Rodger: Secondly, because you snuck past the security system so easily we found that funds specifically for the security system were being embezzled by Gardenview staff. So we’ve busted a company fraud ring.
Rodger: And finally, the pathogen you unleash does give people mild diarrhea but it we found it’s also a great source of Vitamin C-
Waxwell: OK whatever, take this!
*Waxwell throws a nearby can of pop and throws it at Rodger, hitting him in the shoulder. Rodger moves his shoulder*
“Purple, red, and black Toons who are malicious and antagonistic pranksters who are doomed to fail and never learn their lessons because they are the designated “bad guys” of the cast. And who have relatives that are forced to deal with/remedy their shenanigans”
Like, will the game still get updates? Yes. An update is literally slated for tomorrow in fact. And Qwel did mention in her apology that the BlushCrunch Team will continue to work on the game even after she has stepped down.
Alright, so good news! Qwel has finally stepped down and released a better apology.
Now, it's not a perfect apology, but it's better than the one we got in July and it's a step in the right direction. It was also now proven that she was NOT the one that sent the C&Ds to silence the victims, but it was done by the legal team to protect her and the staff of BlushCrunch. Qwel herself has said that she asked the legal team to not take further action on the victims.
Does this mean I'll return to playing the game?...Yes. BUT I need to preface that and say that that does NOT mean I forgive her, nor does that mean I'm "switching up", for the former is not my call to make. And I am aware that Qwel will likely still be making income from Dandy's World as a franchise, given that she is the IP holder. But like it or not, she still needs to eat and pay bills just like everyone else, so expecting her to completely cut off from Dandy's World is, to be frank, unrealistic.
Qwel is, at the very least, no longer in an active position of power, and I feel like that is enough. Others may feel differently, and they are in full right to have their own opinions and reactions. But I believe, for me, I have finished my part and "service", so to speak. The boycott achieved it's end, we got we wanted; A proper and appropriate conclusion.
I do wanna apologize for all my vitriol I have displayed during the controversy. It was not my intent to incite any harassment that may have come about from it. I admit to have reacted in the heat of the moment. I will delete my more vitriolic posts about the controversy after posting this one. Though I will still keep my "I do not support Qwel" disclaimers up on my pinned post and whatnot.
I wish for the victims to find nothing but healing, I wish the best of luck for Qwel on her healing journey, and I hope, if she returns, that she will emerge a better person.
Now! What does that mean for my blogs? Dandy's World: Garden of Sin will be remaining. Even outside the fact it was made in response to the controversy, I still like the idea of my fanon be framed as a "Retake AU". So things will remain the same for that. However, I am considering adding other delver game content to the blog (Mainly FUNHOUSE) and modifying the directory accordingly. Not as a part of GoS of course, but you get the idea.
As for gardenwcrld (the RP blog), it is now officially off hiatus! BUT I will likely only be posting musings, aesthetic, and music posts for a while. Both to act as a "recovery period" but also because I need to rework a couple things (the blog theme, bios, etc) to incorporate the GoS stuff into the blog. It's name might also be changed to singcrden or something like that, we'll see.
Thank you for sticking by me during that trying time, and I'm excited to see what comes next!
If I make an Alice in Wonderland AU, who should be Alice?
Bassie
Boxten
Glisten
Shelly
Toodles
Multiple Alices
Blaze's Option (Don't touch)
Voting ended onAug 3
So, while I still have other things to work on, I've been thinking of making an Alice in Wonderland AU. Already got most of the roles and some of the story figured out.
But I'm debating on who should be the protagonist of the AU, since I can picture more than one character being Alice. So I want your guys opinion!
I also have a "Multiple Alices" option to open the possibility of "Alice" being more like title and there being more than just one of them (Like in Alice of Human Sacrifice).
