So after a 2 and half year hiatus, Iām back again (arĆs as gaeilge). The little writing ember has been simmering away somewhere inside me and every so often a spark goes off in my head and the ember fires up to get back to writing/blogging. But just as quickly as the fire ignites, the quencher of motherhood dampens the creative process and Iām back with a bang to purĆ©ed peas, Peppa Pig and playing Princesses. Enough fire analogies and alliteration? I flaminā well hope so!
To catch you up, since I last blogged about my pregnancy, Iāve had not one but two gorgeous little girls. And no theyāre not twins, Iāve just been that lazy to put pen to paper and managed to procreate two humans in the space of my absence of almost three years.
Another thing that has happened in that time is the absolute saturation of the āmummy/lifestyle bloggersā market, but ho hey, Iām not attempting to be the next Unmumsy Mum rather taking some time to do something I enjoy and unload from my mind at the same time...two birds and all that!
So I am not entirely sure what kind of content you can expect to see from me, but Iāll try my best to be varied. Weāve just moved back to the Edinburgh area so hopefully will have lots to explore with the tots and hopefully lots more opportunities to come for me personally and professionally...here we go again I guess!! āļø
