This year has been a whirlwind of a ride with switching schools (dance and college wise), joining UConn Irish & dancing at Gampel, coming off ban and going to oireachtas for the first time in maybe 4 years (due to surgery, ban etc), winning my way to open and pushing myself more than I ever have. My family as well as my supportive boyfriend and amazing dance teacher have been beyond wonderful and I’m so glad that I transferred to SRL-I’ve been pushed so hard, accomplished way more than I ever thought possible, achieved goals I only dreamed of and have formed new goals for 2016 which include auditions, lots of chocolate milk, better placements, and #nopizza. Onwards and upwards 2016!

How excited am I to share these photos? Excited enough that I haven’t even really finished sorting through these and I’m throwing them up with minimal editing. I got to do photos with @nahdedeux on Saturday at the Oireachtas and boy were they fun. Andie wanted to document the first wearing of her first custom dress (that’s a lot of firsts!) and I was happy to oblige, even if it meant waking up at 6am on a day I wasn’t even dancing.

For y’all that don’t know Andie, you’re really missing out. This girl is THE MOST fun and she’s so special she’s been adopted by our school, even though she doesn’t actually go there (technicalities, schmecnicalities). I am so happy to call her a friend and I’m looking forward to more adventures together in 2016!
