Floral Tears
“A person like me does not deserve love, although you give it to me, I feel in mourning imagining that I no longer have you. I bury what I feel, and when I notice your reasoning, when I see that you accept my distance as a fact with no return and with no effort… I can’t help but feel a tearing in my soul.
For every step back I take, you step back to offer me your hand and guide me on this unknown path of love for me. But for every step I take by your side, I drop a flower at my side to know how to return when through your eyes I see confusion reflected by the attempt at a relationship. I walk looking at the wilted flowers behind, thrown with vulnerability. One more ‘I love you’ is a flower shining again and screaming for me to come back.”
