Here's my 255, 285, and 305lb squats from today. It was my first time in wraps and going heavier since my meet in November. 305 didn't move as fast as I would've liked but that's okay, I know it'll keep improving! First time squatting in the #JBBOSS E3 wraps and I must say they feel amazing! Fourth meet in the books. I've done 4 meets within 9 months, April being my first! I'm definitely hooked on this sport. Already have some numbers in mind for my next meet and hoping to finally hit an 800+ total!
Can't say thank you enough to this cutie for all his help this weekend and all the weeks leading up to this meet. He not only dealt with me while I was cutting weight but then he also made sure I recovered well before the meet by feeding me and making sure I was hydrated! He was there 110% for me today and I seriously don't think I would've done so well without his help. From wrapping my knees to buying me food during breaks, and reminding me to be confident and believe in myself, he did it alll today! Thank you for being my number one support system and for everything you do love! 💖💖💖
Ended 8/9. This is my second attempt at 303lbs which is what I missed my last meet! Getting this lift was my goal, anything after this wouldve been icing on the cake! Attempted 314 after this but my back was just taxed. Not there today but it'll be there soon! Super happy and proud of myself. Squats from today! Its my last squat before the meet and I'm definitely feeling ready. Here is 300, 330, and 340 (I thought I was retaking 330 to hit the wraps harder but coach tricked me and added an extra 10 lbs!).
