Going through my old sketchbooks and dug up some hidden gems. These are all before The Battle Royale aired so the Dom n Hater dynamic is different than it turned out in the show.
Also this is just the first dump of several. Brace yourselves for more stupid doodles, comics, and OTP memes.
I hope this stupid merger fails and Paramount fucking loses everything and is forced to file for bankruptcy. That piece of shit Ellison will finally fuck off and die, I'll never have to listen to idiot animation fans bitch about SpongeBob, Avatar, or South Park ever again, and we'll finally be one step closer to the complete and utter destruction of Hollywood. That city needs to be wiped off the face of the earth and the ground sewn with salt. Humanity will be ten times better without it.

As you can see we have another crossover for Halloween except this one is canon! Everyone's favorite Crossover Ship from 90's Cartoon Network, Johnny Bravo and Velma Dinkley! XD You just had to be there.
This crossover came from the fact that Johnny Cage's chest tattoo and dark sunglasses just SCREAMED Johnny Bravo to me as well as his martial arts training and, most importantly, EGO! Was gonna pair up Heather Asplund from the Valentine's Day special as his Sonya Blade, but after thinking it over, I'd be doing this couple a massive disservice by not having Velma in the flak vest. We know what she's hiding under that sweater! XD
While the pose is a reference to MK1, the costumes are all MK9. They're the right kind of over the top. Plus as you can see from these two, they both love how well the other looks in their costumes. I like the headcanon that the trophy Johnny's carrying is the trophy they won for Best Couples Costume. And you can't convince me otherwise! XD

I went digging and couldn't turn up anything, substantial or otherwise, about Matt Moylan. I need to know how low to place my expectations for my second favorite mega men, because it sounds like "pretty damn low"
Matt Moylan is the Director of Publishing over at Udon. He's been there for ages. He's also a total reactionary.
To give full context, this is gonna get a little long.
Moylan is perhaps best known for the Transformers fancomic Lil Formers, which was popular in the '00s and is still the namesake of his Twitter account to this day. This isn't super important here, but allow me to go on a tangent because it's where a lot of people know the guy from, and it's mildly more entertaining than just screencapping his tweets. The comic was basically just an excuse for him to draw a bunch of chibi Transformers that people would then use in forum signatures and whatnot. Sometimes he would attach his cranky old geewunner opinions and complain about art style changes or new female characters in the dialogue, if he wasn't just making a generic joke about Wheelie being annoying or Seaspray having a silly voice or whatever.
Comedy gold, I know.
Lil Formers was well known within the fandom. Geewunners and kids who didn't know any better and just liked the chibi Transformers (guilty) loved it. Other fans grew more annoyed by Moylan's schtick. As far back as 2009 TFWiki contributor David Willis mocked it in a strip from his own webcomic, Shortpacked:
His wiki page on TFWiki also recounts a bizarre old bit of fandom drama. Moylan had previously worked for the defunct comic publisher Dreamwave, who published the Transformers comics in the early '00s, and in 2006 he went on popular Transformers forum TFW2005 to make several claims about behind the scenes conflicts and unfulfilled story plans. Most bizarre was a claim that Autobot Sunstreaker was supposed to be gay in the Dreamwave comics, which was written off as a childish attempt to rile up the fandom. His claims were all disputed by the Dreamwave writers he was shit talking, who would also accuse Moylan of anonymously slandering them and sending them threatening emails. Swell guy!
Anyway, hopefully this isn't surprising to literally anyone who's been on a forum in the last decade, but this nerd who won't shut up about the Good Ol' Days of the '80s is now a reactionary conservative who complains about how they're making everything "woke." And unfortunately he's no longer just some guy drawing dumb little one-panel comics about Transformers, he's now overseeing all of the output at Capcom's go-to comic and art book publisher in North America.

Yes, that's a reply to Mark "Grummz" Kern. He's also chatted up accounts like Libs of Tiktok and Comicsgate ringleader Ethan Van Sciver. Also note the reply in which he tries to tell Greg Weisman himself that Gargoyles had "not an ounce of woke." This guy's brain is fucking cooked.

After I and several other people posted about his behavior over on Bluesky and expressed disinterest in buying anything from Udon (such as the new Mega Man comics), he deleted his Twitter for like a week. He's since restored it, the tweets in question now long gone. Clearly it wasn't a good look for him to be making statements about his employer's values like this, sometimes in the same breath as announcements about new comics. That being said, he's issued no actual apology for his statements, and Udon hasn't acknowledged it at all. There's no reason to believe he's had a change of heart. They're just gonna pretend he never said any of this. And as of a few days ago, he's been announced as the writer for the one-shot Mega Man ZX comic that Udon is putting out later this year. Yaaaayyyy
I know there are a lot of cool people working on stuff for Udon, but Moylan being in a position of power there means I have zero interest in giving that company money. When your Director of Publishing is over on Twitter trying to court an audience of reactionary nerds and proudly proclaiming that Udon is "anti-woke, anti-DEI," and then you go to their website and the first image you see is this...
...Look, I love huge boobs as much as the next bisexual furry pervert, but this particular image in conjunction with his tweets paints a pretty clear picture of what sort of values Moylan is pushing at Udon. He wants to cater to nerds who will buy softcore Street Fighter hentai thinking it'll own the libs.
So hey, if he doesn't want my dirty woke money, fine by me. I'm not touching anything Udon publishes as long as Matt Moylan still works there.

Thought we forgot about the sketches we promised? Nope! We just needed some time to ourselves, but we're back to doodling! For starters, here's one based on a prompt we got about Glitch Techs' Five and Miko!

After 2 dopes stumble into the world of organized villainy, they have to play along to stay alive. While doing so, they encounter (and even befriend) several professional villains.

Shadow Nose: One of the many lower-ranking villains in the Legion just (barely) above the ranks of henchmen. Known for his theatrics, over-inflated ego, and insistence on keeping consistent with the means and methods of his (outdated) theme. Entirely ignorant (or in denial) about his low-standing in the Legion, Shadow Nose sees no reason to change his methods even though his obsession with spectacle and theatrics run counter to his job as a professional thief and hinder any chance of promotion. Yet, somehow, in spite of it all, Shadow Nose managed to become part of a team with two other villains at the bottom of the rankings. To the confusion of many, Acid Tess and Peephole (somehow) see him as a friend and manage to put up with his quirks. To his credit, though his ego hasnât diminished, Shadow Nose appreciates and returns their friends. Even if heâd never admit it. Out loud at least.
Acid Tess: Another villain at the bottom-tier, Acid Tess is a villain more by means than motives. She considers herself a scientist above all things and only wants to further pursue her research. But such things take money and with so many different scientist groups jockeying for grant money, there wasn't much else she could do to gain funds than to seek alternative means. And thus began Acid Tess' descent in organized villainy. While a brilliant chemist and inventor, Tess seems completely unaware of just how big of a jump she made from scientist to villain. To her her actions, while not honest, are simply a means to an end. If she can discover something that'll change the world for the better than it'll have all been worth it. That said she makes a point of never hurting anyone with her crimes which she limits to robberies and tech thefts. A major relief to potential targets since the acids Tess has created are insanely potent.
Peephole: Sweet and innocent, Peephole may have an eye in her chest, but she doesnât have a mean bone in her body. How she ended up joining the Legion is anyoneâs guess, but most likely her obvious mutation made standing out easy and fitting in hard. That kinda hardship can make finding honest work next to impossible and your options limited. Still despite her upsetting past and current affiliations, Peephole is by no means violent or vengeful. While she can grant herself any ocular-based power with the literal blink of an eye, she content limiting herself to minor crimes such as break-ins or thefts. Itâs done little to elevate her standing among her peers, but itâs only made her more loyal to the few friends sheâs made there. To her, Shadow Nose and Acid Tess arenât her teammates, but her best friends and sheâll have their backs no matter what.
