They/Their type pronouns are appreciated, but I guess I'll answer to anything. I reblog Homestuck a lot, and sometimes I say dumb things about my problems and feelings.

So I guess this is a post to say I’m done with this blog? I’m not going to delete it, because I think I’ll like to come back to it at some point, but for a lot of reasons keeping up with this blog just isn’t working. When I look back at some of my early posts, I’m kind of disgusted by who I used to be, and an alarming amount of the people I follow have been posting some pretty offensive things. I think if I unfollowed everyone who has been sucky lately I would unfollow most of the blogs currently on my dash. Those things have had me considering getting a fresh start tumblr-wise, but lately I’ve been having some problems with followers, and I’m tired of blocking people, so I guess this will be my last post on here? I’m feeling oddly sentimental about it, actually. I’d rather not have certain people follow my new account, so message me off anon if you want my new URL, I guess?

Kinda don’t like the thing people are doing where they’re all,”Davepeta is canonically trans, Davepeta is genderfluid, Davepeta is bigender, ect.” Because Davepeta is a guy and a girl shoved into one body who is getting used to being happy, and is having gender identity issues for probably the first time(?), and it bothers me to see people labeling a character having these issues as one gender identity or the other and calling it canon even though I’m all for non-binary characters. I guess because it reminds me of non-binary people being told they’re either a boy or a girl without being allowed to figure things out themselves?

DavePetasprite^2 is kind of horrifying, and I don’t really like the concept, but I’m just really glad that Dave and Nepeta are finally happy with themselves, so I’ve decided to stop being upset about it, and just wait and see where Hussie takes this. I don’t think a lot of people understand how frustrating memory and concentration problems are. It’s not cute or “ditzy” or whatever to forget what you were doing or thinking about moment after you were doing it. Not being able to complete a task or thought because you can’t remember or focus long enough to finish it is a terrible feeling.
