So I know I said I was going to write this summer but I've been off for a week and I'm only on Chapter three.

It's almost dinner and I haven't written today because it's too fucking hot.

Clarke: points a gun to her head after months of being alone, finding her(recently) dead lover’s throne, and unsuccessfully attempting to dig up the bunker that holds quite literally the rest of the human population leaving her alone in her own mind that’s on the brink of having a breakdown. To which she actually has said breakdown after finding a glimmer of hope only for it to be snuffed out seconds later. 

The 100 Writers: eh, we could do better 

Season 6:  *happens*

Clarke: Is put into an a hallucinatory-like state where she hears her own mother tell her she’s a parasite/cancer and that she only makes other suffer and die just by being around her prompting her into holding a knife towards her own throat.

Writers: eh it’s missing something 

Clarke: has her body stolen and is jailed in her own mind being reminded of some of the trauma she went thru, is forced to open the airlock thus killing her own mother, gets on her knees w/ a gun pointed at her skull in an last ditch attempt to reach out to Madi saying she can’t handle losing her mother & daughter in one day.

Writers: ‘k that’s a wrap. Time to start brainstorming new ways to torture the main character of this show.

ok but nothing will ever be as iconic as kaz brekker breaking into the slat knowing it was pretty much a suicide attempt, stopping to change his coat, and then descending down the stairs while beating the shit out of an entire gang (all armed with various fatal weapons) like some kind of insane preacher covered in blood

This season of the 100 I don’t wanna hear ANYONE coming for my girls (that means you Spacekru).

Clarke Griffin deserves better.

Octavia Blake deserves better.

I love Bellarke with my whole ass heart, but if Clarke will be happy without it, than I am okay not getting it. Same goes for Octavia. I love the dynamic those two have, but these girls deserve someone who won’t blame them for everything going wrong (looking at you Raven, Emori, and Murphy).

Y'know something that doesn't get discussed often enough in the fandom? The fact that Clarke spent a whole year in solitary confinement. Like, I have always headcanoned the fact that Clarke is very touch starved especially during those first few months on earth as she's adjusting to being free again but I've never found any fics that explore this idea
