The male would be lying if he said he wasn’t shocked by the smile that occupied the wizard’s face. It wasn’t the sadistic smirk he’d seen, it was a smile that took him back to his years in school and the friendship they had shared. He wasn’t exactly sure how to reply to the male so he just gave a shrug before clearing his throat and nodding. “Yes we do. Did you know?”
Isaac shook his head in response to Owen’s question, brows drawing together. “No, I thought the same as you - that he was gone.” A hand fell back through his hair, shrugging his shoulders as a deep sigh passed his lips. “You think his family knew? They were the ones who identified the body.. Surely they must have know that he wasn’t really gone..” Teeth captured his bottom lip, chewing on it gently as his gaze fell to the floor once again.
