Art, Consumption & Creativity
The boundaries between communication and visual art became even more fleeting in the 2000s. "In the complex society the roles are less and less defined," recalls the School of Bologna in the sociology of consumption "so that it is increasingly difficult to speak of targets as a group of individuals with homogeneous characteristics and behaviors". This concept, translated into the art world, leads to a fall of the barriers between the various disciplines. In contemporary art it is increasingly difficult to distinguish between "pure" art and other forms of creativity.
