I was active on scratch from about 2019-2025 and I was on gwdfi from about late 2022-2025ish (partially was on dbd aswell)
gwdfi closed one year ago today and i hope it stays that way ngl

“stop treating the hive as a backup for when dbd closes!!” it’s frying me how people nearing adulthood have this little sense. there’s a lot of overlap between hivians and dbders (which stemmed from everyone migrating after the gwdfi closure). these are two of the most active chat studios on the site. you cannot genuinely sit there and act surprised when one closes, people move to talk elsewhere. when gwdfi would close, people would go to the hive & nobody fussed about it. as someone who used to be highly active on gaehive & gwdfi, for around 2 years if my memory serves me correctly, and when one closed, the other would spike in activity. get off your fucking high horse. this isn’t new.

i only stuck around gwdfi up until the dino thing and left , he was a massive chud and it was handled poorly also i remeber when maci was first promoted nobody knew who the fuck she was and she was plain annoying. I think I came back around when gwdfi shut down to check out dbd and i think its probably worse, both studios had a massive racism problem though

Yeesh, I'd say I only started becoming more active on gwdfi just before the dino thing struck. It was handled horribly especially considering the fact that scratch is for ages 8 and over, I remember the video daisy linked and ENCOURAGED the studio to watch didn't present the sexual harassment in a nuanced way at all. I'll be so fr Dino was a chud and what he did was fucking horrible but the way it was handled was also horrible, I feel like it should have been stopped at "he's no longer a manager" and that's that. Kids as young as that don't have to know the full story. She could have told a few friends, contacted a trusted adult and that should have been the end. Maci's just there for the power trip and she's still on gaehive as a manager to fulfil her superiority complex I fucking hate her (possibly biased she's my ex but whatever we ball frfr). I know the exact full story as to how she became a manager though I won't go into details here because I'm not a complete fucking monster but she was essentially playing being promoted as a game, her account was created for the sole purpose of becoming a manager. DBD was horrible it was like a devolved GWDFI from what I've seen though I generally quit scratch a bit after the closure of gwdfi (hung out on gaehive a bit then quit). I don't know about the racism problem mind explaining??

brook/moonwatcher127 was not a gwdfi manager. unless I misread something and you are talking about a different person. brook has been on the gaehive for a really long time I think they said since they were 11-12 and I was there when they started managing gaehive in like early 2022 iirc. they've also stated they're not a pedo but I mean I can't actually confirm whether or not they are lmfao. I haven't seen any evidence that they are one though
I believe kyun2beat (I think maci?) was previously a gwdfi manager though but brook was not as far as I know
