no official release date exists yet for Cadence of Hyrule, and I accidentally missed day 16! though no breaking news about the game happened yesterday either.

Did you know?: The idea of alt. tracks came when FamilyJules sent the development team his covers of all the zone 1 music. they decided to have him cover all the tracks for Aria's gameplay, and enlist ARival to do another set for Melody!

Did you know?: originally, the monsters would move on the half beat of the song instead of on the beat with you, presenting much more of a rhythm based challenge, but developer Ryan Clark decided against it as it greatly increased the difficulty against the player

No official release date as of yet for Cadence of Hyrule yet! This is all ample time that could be spent getting better at Crypt of the Necrodancer!

honestly the only reason I havent really said anything about dang dangan ronpa despite it being in the game (not even sure I spelled it right tbh) is because I know nothing about it. if you found CotND through it, that's swell!! I'm just absolutely uninformed about it.

Did you know? ZELDA EDITION!: Link originally was supposed to be completely androgynous, so that the player could project themselves onto the character they played as. and to a degree, it worked! An old gaming magazine interpreted Link as a redheaded girl!

ok so I've already posted about my personal headcanon about coda, but lemme just compile all of my headcanons here!

-Coda's playstyle is the way it is because she is actively defying the Necrodancer and the magic that has created her. The difficulty is reflective of such tribulations associated with fighting against your destiny.

-Choral (Cadence alt in game) is Eli's adopted daughter, and grew up alongside Cadence. People often remark that they act like twins, dressing alike and generally being with each other all the time. they descended into the crypt together.

-Aria is the only one in the family who isn't the most impulsive human alive. She is absolutely flabbergasted that essentially her entire family jumped into the crypt without a second thought.

-Octavian is a Glamor Bard (d&d bard college) who wasn't very good at being one at all, and instead took after the College of Whispers in hopes that a change in his approach would have him revered as a famous bard. instead, he overheard a legend of an object of great power and intercepted a map to the very crypt the lute resided within.

-Bolt moves at double speed due to the great anxiety of entering a crypt of the undead.

-Bolt and Monk are friends, and he is the reason that Bolt descended into the crypt in the first place, as he had gone in and hadn't returned for some time.
