its so frustrating seeing SO MANY trans women constantly talk about how chihiro is trans coded but the writing was transphobic, and then a bunch of cis people are like Well heres some transphobic writing from the game that proves she isnt trans, so there. like im so convinced these people hate trans ppl so much they stop being able to read. hello, i'd like to have a civilized discussion over why Chihiro is not trans. I am definitiely not against trans headcanons and am an ally myself. I have multiple trans friends that all agree that Chihiro is not trans! She wanted to be recognized as a boy but had self esteem issues and became a crossdresser to avoid bullies, but still wanted to be seen as a man. I use she-her pronouns because she wasnt ready to come out as a man yet and i respect that! Have a great day!

do you realize that chihiros entire character arc is about him not being trans?? i'm literally trans, and trust me chihiro is a cis male.

Hi am also trans. Chihiro is so heavily written with transgender woman coding (pun half intended) and stereotyping it hurts. The way they handled her arc was super bad but despite the writing (especially the dialogue during some of the free time events and the yikesable non-cannon bonus mode) for every instance of “Chihiro is actually a boy” there’s at least two clear pieces of evidence that point to her being a her. Basically let’s unite as trans people to reclaim Chihiro because she’s so heavily trans coded
