𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗗𝗘𝗟𝗟 smiles reading a message from his phone just as a commotion breaks out inside of the party. he looks up to see several attendees running in various directions just as shots ring out. he’d given into the temptation of the drinks and weed, now regretfully moving slower and delayed with his usually quick reflexes. stumbling over a chair, he stands up trying to steady his footing, just as a hot stinging sensation warms his side. his secluded seat of choice hindered him as he grimaced , barely able to stifle his sounds of pain. just making a few more steps through the service kitchen door in the rear, he began to feel the sudden heaviness of his inebriated body, releasing a tensed cry of pain before slumping to the cold floor with his hands on his side.

“Congratulations superstar” 𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗗𝗘𝗟𝗟 smiled as he put his swisher down and leaned into 𝗦𝗨𝗠𝗠𝗘𝗥 for a hug. he looked her over and paused to just grin. He was so happy for her and proud that she stuck to her dream and didn’t let outside influences restrict her sound or her dreams. “I’m just so happy to see you happy.” he was obviously under the influence and less tense than usual. “Nah I think I’m good on the drinks, ma. Can’t get too fucked up before the drive back.”
