I feel like in retrospect those old Warped Tour circuit era band members pretending to be gay and blow each other or whatever on stage is just as dumb and corny as any other gimmick. I have yet to see a band like that that isn't absolute dogshit. Unless you're a Sasscore or Queercore band or Brian Molko (absolute fucking legend) or someone part of another plethora of genres that's actually gay, you're just another Tiktok dweeb trying to make up for how shitty your music is by jingling keys in my face.

“We can care about multiple things at once” is such a thought terminating cliche. Caring about something abstractly, mentally, in your mind, is not what people are questioning. Feeling or caring about something is an internal thought or inclination we cannot see or hear. Dialogue on the other hand is an external action and if the discourse on a subject is fixated on one or two points to the exclusion or the marginalization of others, that’s something people have the right to point out.

No one is saying you are acting out of ignorance or apathy - they’re saying you have a narrow focus in what you discuss on a topic. Caring about something is all well and good but we can only assess how you act, not what you feel in silence.

I think alot of tumblrs gender, body, and mental health "advocacy" is gonna get a lot of young people killed. Young people are real people. But they know less than informed adults. And when you mix your messaging, on purpose, to remain relevant, the way they act is very polar or sycophantic because they don't know better than to hang on every word you say.

Alot of anti psych platforms are so clout driven, they are already responsible for suicide. Alot of fat advocacy is missing any advocacy for self forgiveness needed for unhealthy choices. In the stead of acting like eating disorders never go both ways. Alot of young people are going to transition fully and still have no safe community.

This is a failure of US. THE ADULTS.
