Week 52: Story Telling: Self-Portrait How do other people see me? That was the second part to this challenge. I don't know so I took a photo of me with some of the hats I wear and played around with it.

Week 47: Composition: Rule of Thirds Emotion What emotion does this create for you. A young teen alone in a stark landscape. It didn't turn out exactly how I expected but it's what I have this time around.

Week 46: Story Telling: 7 Deadly Sins

Greed, Really didn't have an idea or inspiration for this challenge.  Just not my bag I guess.  Here is my son hording all the Hotwheels.

Week 45: Inspiration - Musical My son participates in a after school program called Steel de Boro where they learn to play steel drums and perfrom all over the county. It is really cool stuff. Week 44: Composition - Viewpoint I always enjoy the frogs eye view as I saw it call, but we will call this squirrel eye view. We have had quite a bit of rain the last few days so the ground was still quite wet and I got down to take these shots. Good times.

Week 43 Story Telling: Film Noir Suburban noir. The streets of my neighborhood grow mysterious at night. All I am missing is a little fog to add to the mood.

Week 42: Inspiration: Work Work Work

Took the camera to work and shot some of the tools and things I was using that day. These drills turned out nice.

Week 41 Composition: Color Theory I am very hit or miss with color grading. I have used it to great effect at times and other time to great disaster. I kept it a little more simple this time at first giving the image a more dramatic overall look then decided to enhance the fall colors which took a little more work.

Week 40 Story Telling: Modern Convenience Finally finished this challenge. We went camping in the Smokie Moutains earlier this week and bought these dollar headlamps for the trip. They came in quite handy and LED tech continues to amaze me.

Week 39: Inspiration: The Elements Had several grand ideas and tired to shoot them.  They all didn't come out like I had hoped, for one reason or another.  But, I still had a lot of shots of fire, but they were all from a little bowl.  So, I composited them into this nice image.  I like how it turned out.  If you look really close you can still see some of the water drops in the air from one of the failed idea

Week 38: Composition: Rule of Odds

The good ole rule of odds in an Urbanscape. Stopped at the town square after a gig and walked around and shot for a half hour. Week 37: Story Telling: Seasons It's hot this September.  Had a hotish and humid summer but the real heat didn't hit unitl a week or so ago.  Looks like the first day of fall will be in the 90's.  So I tried to tell the story of the heat of this fall in the image.

Week 36 Inspiration: Your Habits Habits. So many good and bad. My biggest habit is always listening to music. Letting it create the soundtrack for the moment I am in. Another is apple cider when in season. This is the first jug of 2019. Another habit not seen from this angle is the bible the headphones are resting on. It is more important than the others and the hardest one to keep.

Week 35 Composition: Symmetry Portrait Stumped again. The challenges this year have been well challenging. I have had the mirror idea for most of the last week but finally came up with a way to shoot it. Not the best mirror in the world as it distorted her image but I like the results.

Week 34 Story Telling: Color without Color I have been working on a project that will allow me to display some of my photos in a creative way. So this is a photos of part of the process.

Week 33 Inspiration: Tell a Lie Make the camera lie. Well while my son can jump pretty good there is almost no chance I could capture this shot with him just jump for the tree. So a few shots and a little photoshop later. There you go.
