Instagram Post Finished! I started this blanket last fall for my nephew’s impending daughter on the first day of her third trimester (it’s a Hispanic superstition thing ☺️). Then my life went into hyperdrive and I couldn’t seem to carve out any time for crochet! It was especially painful when someone else gifted a crocheted blanket at the baby shower and he assumed it was from me (plunge knife ♥️ and twist!!!) Well I made it my mission to finish this blanket this weekend no matter what! Happy 1st day of October! This month is Breast Cancer Awareness month which is near & dear to my heart 💖 Almost every woman in my family has had some experience with it & I am vigilant about self exams and regular mammogram visits. My Titi Meenie is currently going through chemo and specially requested cotton hats. I gotta day, there was a definite learning curve involved! After 3 frogged projects, I actually got 3 done! How positively perfect that I finished this little cardi just in time for pride month?! While I enjoy making all the neutral pretties for my other 2 grandnuggets, I’m so ecstatic to get to make rainbow pretties for this one!
