“I’m doing pretty good, bit tired with all the training and the tests, and of course wedding planning, but i do enjoy it really. How have you been?” he smiled softly he hadn’t caught up with her for a while. 

“It’s been good lately, I’ve recently finished one of the restricted sections books which is lovely.” She smiled at Luke. “Who are you marrying? I probably should know this but I can’t seem to remember.”

“Maybe he knows that you are no longer pretending.”

She turned slightly red. “I am to a degree.”

“I am aware of your strange fondness for them yes.”

“Well yeah, Father forced it. However, lately, he has been telling me that I don’t need to pretend anymore.” She shrugged.

Alastor frowned. “Wasn’t that obvious?” 

“Do we consider people with veela blood, clean?” She pondered.

“That’s good, good for you.” He said with a slight nod, by then his brow furrowed, “act strangely? How so?”

“You know why I am so into muggle things correct?” She questions the blonde, she assumed he knew most purebloods did.

“So..how you been doing Iso?”

“I have been okay, I have been following Father’s rule, been studying, I’m almost top in my class.” She smiled at the Slytherin. “Although, Father has recently began to act strangely.” She pondered.

“Yes, I’m sure you are worried about the well-being of others.” She half glared at him. 

“The well-being of some others.” Alastor said pointedly. “Wouldn’t want you spilling any of that pure blood, now. What a waste that would be.”

"Oh yeah, my clean blood." She emphasized the word clean, she was feeling rather feisty today for some reason.

She bit her lip, she liked to try and forget that aspect. "Oh uh yeah, good point."

“Yeah, but I don’t like work. I hardly do the research required for my essays. I don’t think I’d fancy doin’ it for shits and kicks.”

“Strange, it could benefit you. Knowledge is everything.”

“No need for the attitude, Rowle.” Alastor said coldly. “I’m only trying to save you from falling down a staircase and breaking your neck.” 

“Yes, I’m sure you are worried about the well-being of others.” She half glared at him.

“No, no. I ducked in time. Please be careful.” She smiled sweetly at the girl.

“Me? Research? Nah, just sayin’ someone should. It would be pretty impressive if we’ve had all this power just lying there untapped.” He commented, waving his hand dismissively. He would merely pass the idea to Rosie to see if it was worth pursuing.

“I don’t believe you don’t do research, you have that thing about you. You like knowledge. You don’t need to be modest.”

Things were changing, he didn’t think she knew how true those words rang in his ears. “Huh. that makes sense. Maybe someone should start looking into it again. See if there is any evidence to be found.”

“I mean if you ever need help researching I’ll help.” She suggested, kind of hoping he’d say no but she felt obligated to ask.
