Media and Travel have been a good combination for the past few years. There was a time that the country's tourism has decreased because of inappropriate advertising, posting of posters and flashing of commercials in televisions. There were times that they released three slogans that did not even work, and lowered the development rate of the country's tourism. Foreigners did not want to go to the Philippines because of those advertisements. They saw the bad side of the country and was not able to see good part of it. It went down dramatically that the Philippines lost a big amount of reputation and some kind of profit. The year came that a slogan changed the game and the tourism of the country increased dramatically in a way that more foreigners came and actually gave a good feedback about the tourist spots of the country. Some of those people have not been in the Philippines yet. They just heard about it and actually bit the opportunity to try and go for it. "Its more fun in the Philippines" this is the tagline that captured the eyes and hearts of the people. People who are wanting to go to the country for a long time but was hesitating to try because of the so called slogans that were supposed to attract the people rather than push them away. The new tagline was really impressive. And it comes eith different videos and pictures of the beautiful tourist spots in the country. With that style of advertising, it attracted alot of foreigners and pushed them to visit. The country's tourism since then started to boom and foreigners kept on coming back because they discovered places that they have not seen before. It's definitely a new experience for them and their families. According to a survey posted online, foreigners felt really secured. They said that the poeple's culture were so unique that they loved it. They even liked filipino food. To conclude, not all advertisements will always hit people and get them. People are smart. They think before they act and do something that they arent sure of. People should always try to understand and get the taste and hearts of other people for them to benefit and not just waste millions for advertisements.
