do you have any study tips for high schoolers??
honestly i didnt study in high school 😂 but just use the same tips ive mentioned on my blog :)

i’m lucky enough to have traveled a lot yes :) i’m an only child so my parents took me everywhere they traveled to, and growing up in europe and the us i’ve seen a lot of different parts of the world. My favorites: chile, key west, puerto rico, bahamas, greece (crete & rhodes), italy (favorite part is probably sardinia and tuscany, and i’m going down there again in a week), and of course sweden because it’s my home (or second home i guess) p.s. i have no idea when this ask was sent, it was probably ages ago, sorry havent been active 🙈
getting healthy as a student pt.2
SO!! this pt.2 is going to be more continuing with general tips, advice but also time management!
I starting adding a source of carbs and fat to all my meals Carbs and fats are ESSENTIAL to cognitive and motor functions, without them!! You will not work!! Carbs and fats help you stay fuller for longer! rather than sugars, which only fill you for a short amount of time!
I made a fitness plan for when I had time and a fitness plan for when I was busy So when I have time and school + work aren’t too hectic, I workout around 6 times a week for about an hour to an hour and a half but when I’m busy, I workout around 4 times a week for 30mins. I picked days of the week I knew I’d have more time than the rest and stuck to my plan! If I said I would workout, I did.
I found a workout buddy for the times I was unmotivated!!! I got a friend to come with me for the days or even weeks I felt like I really just wanted to stay at home and sleep and visa-versa! be that person for someone else!! motivate your friends!!
I diversified my veggies SOOOO IMPORTANT!! the different colours in veggies give you different micronutrients!! SO eat as many coloured veg as you can! Cauliflower, beans, red capsicum, green capsicum, yellow capsicum, tomatoes, carrots!! all that ish!
I found out about my health issues and worked around them So this may not apply to you but until this year!! I had no idea I had sleep apnea, which was caused by something else I had no idea about! My jaw, my lower jaw has grown back onto my oesophagus so all this time I thought I had asthma or was just really unfit, turns out!! I just can’t breathe! I have some more health issues but the point is, go to professionals if you feel something isn’t working as it should and get help!!
I focused on my mentality So my family has a history of eating disorders and I knew I never wanted to fall into this trap so you truly have to be careful when starting your health and fitness journey! Catch yourself when thinking things “Maybe i just shouldn’t eat” like NO GIRL!! of course you should! Be careful not to turn exercise into a punishment for eating something unhealthy!! Grow your mental health + physical health, they’re both important!!
I stopped buying food from the canteen Honestly, this helped so much, the canteen is loaded with unhealthy foods and they’re EXPENSIVE!! and even the ‘healthy’ foods can be made with white bread and can be filled with cheese! So go shopping! Stick to your shopping list and make your own damn food!!
I started bringing a banana, an apple + my water bottle everywhere I went This meant if I got hungry, I didn’t have to buy anything but also I kept hydrated!! So important! You should be drinking around 2 litres a day!! If you know you dont drink much during the day, aim for 3-4 glasses of water before you leave the house and 4 glasses when you get home.

my goal for 2018 is more blush, more books, and less caring what people think of me
when i was a child i thought ‘male enhancement’ pills just made you a better guy. they made you pleasant to be around. the man on the commercial had a big smile on his face and they made a point of how happy his wife was and everyone loved him. this is honestly what i thought
God I wish that was what they actually did.

I hope that you, whoever you are reading this right now, achieve all that your beautiful soul wants to in 2018 (and the remainder of 2017). Whether it’s one gigantic goal, three medium goals, or five small ones. And I hope that you reach them by not neglecting your own health and happiness.
12/02/17 - DAY 1/145.
today was not really productive but I took some great decisions that will - at least I hope - help me to be more efficient from now on. I’ve learned my economics lesson on environnemental issues and I’m starting to make notes on the one on innovation and secular stagnation. I think I’ll work a bit late tonight but at least I will be proud of what I’ve accomplished, which is what I need atm. Tomorrow’s maths day, and I’ll have hundreds of things to do BUT I need to chill out. (here are the notes I made for my philosophy class yesterday, which are neater than my economics one)

5.3.17 Was doing some essay writing in one of my favourite cafés in Clifton yesterday while it rained, and then went to play the last game of South West League for quidditch. We lost, but not as badly as we thought we would! I’m finding this essay so interesting it’s a shame I’m finding it so hard to write! Xxx emily
