The hovering bright sun casted a golden light scent on a small brown rustic, wooden window.
A young girl slept peacefully; her long golden-brown curly hair covered her face as her black tank top was jumbled together.
Her drool stains were all over her white pillowcase and sheets. Her covers and blankets were scattered on the wooden floor. Her long vanilla skin arm hung over the messy mattress. As long sigh was heard Luné wiped her blurry eyes, placed her hand on her fully charged phone and screamed as her brown eyes grew big.
‘’ Oh shit’’ Luné said as she sat up quickly. ‘’ What? ‘’ an older man said confused as he approached Luné’s open door.
‘’ I’m late, quick go feed mom ‘’ she said as her older brother softly shrugged his shoulders and spoke quietly.
‘’ I can’t, I’m late I have to go’’. Luné gazed at her older brother Jonathan and sighed as she picked up her blue denim jeans from the floor. Jonathan quickly looked down ‘’ I’m sorry ‘’she glanced at her brother once again and asked
‘’ okay, Where’s Liora?’’ ‘’ She already left ‘’ Luné looked down once again and sighed.
‘’ Look I have to go; the kids are up but they’re not dressed, I’ll see you later okay, ‘’ Jonathan said as he closed the front door. Luné silently sighed to herself as she softly said ‘’ Great, I have to do everything myself again’’.

Luné quickly pin- up her hair in the small pink bathroom as she placed light blue eyeshadow on her eyelids.
‘’ Luné I want cereal ‘’ a boy from across the hall said. He shook the cereal box roughly, pouting his soft small lips as he looked inside to find a mystery toy. Luné rolled her eyes as she walked inside the small kitchen, finding her three youngest siblings around the table. ‘’ Okay, but don’t make a mess! ‘’ Her eyes stared firmly at him as he looked up at his older sister and nodded silently. Luné then poured a bowl for her two youngest brothers.
A boy named Hael quietly sat calmly on the chair reading a book, While Leo played with his toy, making car noises with his mouth. ‘’
‘’Come on Lyra let’s have you change’’ Luné said as she picked up her baby sister and carried her.
When abruptly her grandmother called her ‘’Luné ’’ Luné sighed again as she walked over to her grandmother’s room. ‘’ Yes’’ she spoke softly as she saw her grandmother laying on the bed
‘’ Go get me some orange juice, I have to take these pills’’ Fawn said as she grabbed her green pill bottle from the nightstand. ’Luné nodded as she took a step, but her grandmother called her again.
‘’’Luné ‘’ she said as she observed her granddaughter, Luné looked back as she titled her head slightly.
‘’ Yeah ‘’ ‘’ fed your mother, don’t make her wait ‘’ Fawn spoke lowly and conceitedly
‘’ And wear something nice today, Will ya? ‘’ Luné pressed her lips together as she nodded and spoke
‘’ Will do grandma ‘’.’ She sighed again as she walked back into the kitchen and said to herself
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Ooh ~ ooh ~ Ooh ~ The blazing hot heat scorched the hot seat near Luné as the low music played. The birds chirped soundly above the sky. As Luné turned left into a gas station. She filled the car with purple juice. As she gazed upon the birds. Luné sighed as she heard teenagers giggling. They looked at Luné’s pin-up hair and blue polka dot dress and continued to laugh as they walked away. Luné looked at herself in the rear-view mirror and narrowed her eyes. She ignored the laughter and went to get a coffee. When she got back to her car. The coffee spilled all over her chest. She sighed and rolled her eyes in annoyance. She grabbed a used napkin near her and tried to clean the stain. But with her luck it never came out. Luné started the car ‘’ Another day of madness ‘’ she stated as she waited for the cars to stop. She looked ahead in front of her and saw a green light up sign. (Welcome to Stylesville ) she turned her car to the open road and drove onto the wide highway.

The clear-view roofs of the automobiles zoomed pass the blue-strip highway, as the white skyscrapers shimmered pink.
The orange moon reached overhead as the metallic rockets and jets flew by above. The green tracks stood in place as the sky-blue train glided along smoothly, and the deep ocean water waved soundly. Above the busy city, white bubbles formed as tubes appeared ascending people to their destination as others waited patiently. Men held on to their brown briefcase as women held on tightly to their charming purses and children. Big glowing signs were written ahead as the exit road came near. Luné switched on her lights as she turned to park her car.
The engine stopped as she grabbed her bag and opened the door, as she entered the green lit-up building.
She patted the blue fabric dress down softly and blew the loose end of her hair to the side as she softly smiled at the strangers staring awkwardly around her.

Luné walked to the stainless glass window elevator tower and pressed the top floor nine hundred and twenty-six.
Luné waited and waited as the crowds of people rushed in one by one. When finally, she reached her floor, she was met with a stack of paperwork on her desk. She sighed once again and sat on her orange curl swivel lounge chair.
Her fingers held out as her brown bag and blue purse fell onto the orange carpet next to her. Luné looked back at the group of girls that matched each other's outfits. Short aqua-blue skirts and white fitted blouses with bows in the center; the girls rolled their eyes and stared back at her as they chuckled lightly. Luné turned her head and saw the glowing soft lit orange accent of the glass strip wall. Her elbow pressed against her wooded white desk, as she placed a hand underneath her chin seeing the silhouette of a tall man with wide shoulders placing papers on the long conference table.
‘’ Janine, can you come here please? ‘’ The man said as he rubbed his soft chin softly and narrowed his eyes in confusion.
His personal assistant Janine rushed in quickly as Luné eyes kept staring, his glance out onto the ocean of people typing at their desk when suddenly his hazel eyes flashed at Luné’s. He smiled brightly as he waved.

’’ Look at her, obsessed ‘’ The girls spoke softly behind her. ‘’ Yeah, it’s not like she can have him anyway; I’m going to ask him out’’ ‘’ Marissa, you can't, that's your boss ‘’. ‘’ So, it’s 1967 for crying out loud, and I can’t help it, he’s very handsome’’. Marissa said, chuckling as she chewed her gum loudly. Luné rolled her eyes as she stacked the papers on her desk, listening closely. Luné turned on her computer. The &TT9 cassette digital and started her work.
Sometimes her eyes would wonder off her boss’s door as she typed.
Seeing him smiling as his eyes would crinkle, or as he would ponder for a brief moment to construct a singular paper.
Her heart would beat fast as she would mistype a sentence on the screen. Moments later, Asher walked along beside her desk as he smiled and waved lightly. Her eyes widen as her heart sunk down. The girls behind her gasps at his beauty but also his kindness at a small gesture. Luné waved back smiling at herself as for a second in time someone noticed her appearance and her existence. ~ My primal instincts are awake, won’t fade away, this unsatisfied hunger, Hunt down ~

The yellow sun blared brightly as the crescent grey moon hollowed. Lunè typed on the keyboards slowly as her hand held her chin; her eyes closed shut for a brief moment as the drowsiness of last night creeped back into her heavy sleepish body.
She suddenly heard clicking sounds on her desk. ‘’ Pssst’’ her eyes opened again as she stared straight at a tall figure.
‘’ Hey, come on, work is over ‘’ Asher said quietly. As he waved his hand up. Lunè gazed back at the empty orange and purple lounge desk chairs. ‘’ Oh... Right ‘’ She mumbled to herself as she sat up and grabbed her bags. The half-dimmed room appeared unnerving as the naked windows beamed with neon lights from the outside world.
Asher looked back as Lunè staring down he waited patiently for the elevator.
‘’ Sleepy ... are we ‘’ he chuckled lightly as his swollen shoulders pressed against her tiny physique.
She looked up as she nodded smiling ‘’ Yeah, a little bit ‘’ His eyes gazed down her body as he smiled again.
The elevator dinged as they both stepped in. Her heart was blazing hot from the interaction, but her eyes and her soft yawns kept her feet heavy as the pain of the white heels made a lasting red impression.

’’ Luna.....right ‘’ Asher spoke abruptly as he pointed at her. She glanced at him as she lightly smiled
‘’Uh....it’s Lunè ‘’ ‘’ Lunè... of course .... how could I forget...beautiful name...... Lunè ‘’. She smiled softly as hearing him whisper her name felt like soothing ocean sounds. A haunting silence landed again as the loud ringing of the elevator was heard once more. ‘’ Well, get your beauty sleep Lunè, I will see you tomorrow ‘’.
She nodded as her eyes beamed with excitement. Asher, at last, smiled again as he walked off the towering elevator.
Lunè giggled and bite her lip softly.
She zoomed pasted the automobiles as the tall skyscrapers soared through the fluorescent lighting of the city.
The eerie grey moonlight hovered over the planet. As the shadows of the frame planted dark bruised circles around the black cloud picture. Once back at home she forcefully pushed the keys into the hole as she juggled it lightly.
The noises of screams and yelling echoed outside. Once opening the door, Lunè stared ahead in front of her seeing white milk gushing open on the floor; cups spread across the tiny brown rustic table. Jonathan holding a pan of freshly made eggs as it hovered above Leo’s head pointing at his action figure he broke accidentally again.
‘’ Ok...okay...Leo....I will fix it hold on ‘’ Lunè sighed as she heard her mother yelling from the living room.
‘’ Liora....’’ ‘’YEAH ‘’ Liora yelled out as she brushed Lyra hair back. Lunè stared at her older sister for a second and then glanced at her another younger brother Hael as he quietly read a book. ‘’ Liora ‘’ the mother called out again
‘’I’M COMING ‘’ Liora said as she sighed heavily, kissing the baby’s head as she held her in her arms.

Liora glanced at her younger sister who was standing still eyes wide open. Liora scrunched her nose as her thick eyebrows narrowed down and asked.’’ Why are you here so late? ‘’ ‘’ I got held up at work,’’ Lunè said, lying.
‘’ Liora rolled her eyes as her chest lifted.
‘’ Well, the kids have to still eat, I’m putting the baby to sleep but then I’m -’’
‘’ Leaving, I know ‘’ Lunè said knowingly. Liora scoffed as she continued ‘’ ha, I already did my job raising you and you ‘’she said pointing at Jonathan.
‘’ Liora, I need your help, I can’t - ‘’ La,la, la, no, no, no I’m not doing it again, I only came to check up on the baby... that’s it ‘’

🩸~ Chapter two
‘’No, no, no... I’m done ‘’ Liora said sternly walking away with Lyra into the living room.
Lunè sighed again as she closed her eyes when suddenly Jonthan spoke softly ‘’ I have to - ‘’
‘’ Go too ‘’ Lunè said as she turned around facing her older brother her chest tightened as she roughly huffed.
‘’ Just go, Jonathan ‘’ ‘’ Are you sure I can - ‘’
‘’ No just go ‘’. Her brother removed the red apron as he stared back at his sister, taking the burden all on her own this time. Lunè sat down on the brown wooden chair, pressing her eyebrows together as she came to realize she had another job to still do. ~ Cry for the moon, that’s why we cry for the moon ~

‘’ I’m hungry ‘’ her little brother said, Lunè nodded silently while tapping his hand as she softly spoke
‘’ I know, come on, let me make you some toast with your eggs ‘’ Leo puffed his cheeks as he said
‘’ I don’t want toast, I want something else’’ Lunè held tightly to the edges of the counters, her fingernails gripped against the surface as her dark circled eyes closed, listening to her little brother speech. ‘’ I want to eat like those people in the city, I don’t want this garage I- ‘’LEO STOP IT..... WE CAN’T AFFORD IT...so, just eat the toast... please’’. Leo glanced up at his older sister and shook his head, obeying her orders as he took the plate of eggs to the table. Lunè sealed her eyes again as the weight of her chest sunk down. ‘’ S... sorry I’m sorry, I’m just- ‘’
‘’ I can make the toast’’ he interrupted softly as his fingers wiped the napkin along the dirty white floors of the spilling milk. Lunè looked back as tears stains filled her eyes and smiled, Leo stared at her as he smiled pulling out a chair against the counters carefully as he handled with care the untoasted white bread. Lunè sat down as she stared back at the little boy reading and called his name ‘’ Hael ‘’ his brown eyes pierce through his thick green glasses as he peeked behind his book ‘’ Can you? ‘’ Hael dipped his head down, seeing the unfinished work of the milk and stood tall. As Lunè smiled lightly.

’’ Well I’m off ‘’ Liora said as she quickly grabbed her coat and brown design bag. ‘’ Liora...L-’’ Lunè said as she glanced at her. Liora slipped on her brown heels as she shook her head. ‘’ Liora, come on the kids miss you, and -’’
‘’ yeah come on Liora, stay the night ‘’ Leo said looking back. ‘’ No, absolutely not ‘’. Lunè sighed as she gave up staring at her older sister understandably. Liora placed her hand on the table as she leaned towards Lunè whispering softly.
Leo stared intensely trying to listen to the private conversation when suddenly Hael tapped him lightly on his shoulders, softly saying ‘’ It’s done ‘’.
‘’ Lunè, I can’t do it anymore, this can’t be my life’’ she said chuckling softly.
‘’ So, you put me in charge ‘’ Lunè whispered back as her eyebrows narrowed
‘’ Look I put you in charge, because Jonathan doesn’t know what he is doing? ‘’
‘’ You think I like this.... it’s suffocating, having to deal with them all the time ‘’ Lunè said urgently
Suddenly a voice was heard
‘’ Lunè, come here ... I need you ‘’
Lunè stared at her sister when Liora heard the message clearly.
her older sister sighed once again as she whispered putting on her white gloves
‘’ I would advise you to get out ‘’
Lunè shook her head ‘’ I can’t leave the kids,
‘’ You are going to suffocate... and go crazy......like I did’’.

Lunè’s name was called again as she sighed, standing up going into her grandmother’s room. Liora said goodbye to the twin boys that were now eating at the table.
‘’ Yes’’ she said as her grandmother lay on the bed smoking a cigarette.
‘’ Go fetch me my purse, I need something ‘’ Lunè rolled her eyes as she walked to the pink soft lounge chair and grabbed it ‘’ Grandma, you know, you shouldn’t be smoking that ‘’ She said as she covered her mouth taking in the scent. ‘’ Oh, honey, it’s fine, it’s not like it’s going to kill me
‘’ Fawn said slithering her tongue ‘’ Grandma, don’t say that ‘’
‘’ What? It’s not like it’s not going to happen soon
‘’ she said, looking at her granddaughter. ‘’ Yeah but- ‘’ ‘’ Look, my leg would be fixed already, because we can’t afford the expense.... and the doctor won’t -’’
‘’ Won’t work on you, because of the money... yeah, I know ‘’ Lunè chest lifted again as she crossed her arms,
her grandmother looked at her surprise.

‘’ Well, look at you, knowing.... I tell you, I wish you came out as your brother, you would be taking over this planet. ‘’
Fawn said hasty as she was digging through her purse.
‘’ I’ll tell you that boy, don’t know where head to his knees go ‘’
‘’ Lunè smiled as she rubbed her arms smoothly. ‘’ And you’re sister ‘’ Fawn scoffed ‘’ Boy is she something?’’
Lunè glanced at her grandmother as her inconsiderate words shattered her heart for her older sister.
She knew the struggles and hardships Liora went through taking care of the family back then.
And Lunè knew why she never wanted to come back.
‘’ Ugh, it’s not here ‘’ Fawn said annoyed
‘’ What are you looking for?’’ Lune asked concernedly
‘’ oh nothing - ‘’ ‘’ ah, found it,’’
‘’ Your pills?’’ Lunè said chuckling ‘’
‘’ I think I need my eyes fixed too’’.
Lunè smiled as Fawn asked
‘’Are the kids in bed? ‘’
‘’ Soon there’s finishing up eating’’

Lunè left her grandmother’s room as she heard her say ‘’ You will make a great mother someday Lunè ‘’
Lunè scoffed once again as she walked into the kitchen. A while later after she placed the twin boys to sleep.
Checked on her mother and grandparents one last time, placed a kiss on sleeping Lyra’s small head and headed outside to the cold fresh breeze.
Lunè gazed upon the navy-blue sky as the grey moon moved slowly. She sat down onto the wooden brown rustic porch as she closed her eyes and took a long deep breath and smiled, finally feeling at peace.

The next day, the daily routine arose. Lunè scattered around the tiny home making sure her grandmother took her morning regulated pills; the kids were being well fed and dressed for school as her baby-sister was changed and pampered. When Lunè was done with the first task, she then gathered herself together and headed towards the living room. The small green painted room was tightened but bearable. She gazed at her unwell mother quickly as she placed white thick pills in the palm of her hand, Lunè then bent down to her mother’s eye level as she rocked on her brown, nicely, crafted rocking chair.
‘’ Okay, mom ...here you go.... your medicine, open up ‘’.
Her mother eyes gawked as she spoke frantically ‘’ There’s wolves in the attic; there’s wolves in the attic ‘’
Lunè stared at her mother sorrowfully as her mother’s calluses fingers gripped the arms tightly.
‘’ Yes mom, I understand...that’s why you need to take your medicine, so they don’t come back okay ‘’ Lunè said understandably knowing her mother’s condition. She helped her mother lean back against the chair as the mother mumbled to herself ‘’ Take my medicine? ‘’ She said softly, taking the pills from her daughter. Lunè chest tighten seeing her mother going through a hard time for so long, she grabbed the clear glass cup from her floral pattern tray and placed it up to her mother’s mouth. Her mother sighed lightly as she looked at her daughter again and smiled.
‘’ Feel better? ‘’ Lunè’s mother smiled brightly as the yellow grazed sun beamed against the rustic windows.
Lunè sighed as she looked at her grandfather, her grandfather softly chuckled as he placed his warm hand on her arm and said ‘’ Have a good day ‘’.

Once arriving to her work for another exhausting day. The elevator doors opened as a small ding was heard.
Lunè settled her things down as she glanced at the girls behind her. They silently rolled their eyes as they sat on their desk chewing their blue bubble pop gum. She stared at them for a moment when one of the girl's eyes, Marissa looked up, dropping her chin and exposing her half rolled up wrinkled substance.
Lunè narrowed her eyebrows in confusion as she said ‘’ What? ‘’ abruptly a smack was heard
Asher appeared in front of her as he held a roll of stack papers, he smiled brightly as he said
‘’ Hey! “ Lunè looked back as she saw his hazel eyes and heavenly smile. ‘’H...hi ‘’ Asher bent down in front of her desk and smiled again.

‘’ Hi ‘’ Lunè heart rattled as she gazed upon his eyes. ‘’ How are you today gorgeous ‘’ The girls looked at each other madly as he continued ‘’ Hey, listen, I was thinking last night as I was driving home, that.... ‘’Lunè had a lump in her throat as she continued to stare. ‘’Maybe....we can go out tonight...I’ll pay of course ‘’ he said as he smirked.
‘’ Su...sure....yes...absolutely.... I would love to’’ Asher scoffed smirky as he looked down. He then got up placed his hand on the desk as his buff biceps pulse through his white button-up shirt. ‘’ Great ‘’ ‘’ How about the bar across from here?’’.
Lunè nodded, smiling. He glanced at the girls and whispered again to Lunè as she watched carefully his every move hypnotized. ‘’ And don’t pay mind to those girls, they are just jealous ‘’ She nodded as she softly spoke ‘’ okay, of course ‘’.
He smiled again, taking his imprinted hand off the now important desk. As he spoke sternly ‘’ Hey, girls Get off the desks and get to work ‘’ The girls quickly got off as they looked at Lunè with dirty disgusting looks. Lunè stared intensely at him, mesmerized as he winked at her and walked off Ms. Janine observed the innocent flirt as she saw him enter his room,
she lightly huffed, while shaking her head ‘’ Oh boy, that child is going to get hurt ‘’.

The door opened wide as the kids stared shockingly at Lunè’s big smile. Dazed, she danced around the small kitchen as she hummed loudly. ‘I have a date; I have a date! ‘’ Jonathan smiled as he placed the big blue pot onto the stove. ‘’ Yeah, Who? ‘’ he asked Lunè glanced at her brother as she turned to face him. ‘’ Asher! ‘’
Jonathan’s smile fated as his jaw opened wide. ‘’ You’re boss, no... no..... way‘’ Lunè frowned her eyebrows as she asked
‘’ Why not? ‘’ ‘’Because Lunè....I know his kind’’ he said as he grabbed engraved wooding plates from above the cabinet.
‘’ Oh yeah, what is that huh? Well, All I know is that he is not boring ‘’ Jonathan placed the plates and the cups onto the table as he sighed. ‘’ He’s bad news ‘’ Lunè shook her head as he returned to the stove stirring the pot.
She looked at her older brother and whispered to him
‘’ Why can’t you just be happy for me? ‘’
‘’ Don’t you think......I need a break ‘’ ‘’ I’ve been doing this on my own for five years ‘’
‘’ I need a break Jonathan ‘’.
‘’ I just.... don’t want you getting hurt’’ he said as he sighed again
Jonathan then stared at his tired eye sister as she stared back pleading.
Lunè smiled widely again ‘’ Ah, thank you ‘’
‘’ But promise me, you will be careful’’

She placed wooden clothespins on the onto the clean laundry. She hung them on the dry rack neatly as the city far ahead beamed with colors. The tinted see through glass of the automobiles flew high as people parked them on their nicely decorated front lawn.
The three-story luxurious houses light up brightly on the skyline. As the waters below swayed quietly.
‘’ Hey ‘’ Her grandfather said as she turned her head back ‘’ Grandpa what are you doing, you have to sit ‘’.
She quickly rushed to his side as he carefully walked down the steps. ‘’ I wanted to see if you needed any help’’
he said softly. As he smiled, his eyes crinkled as his puffed, rounded cheeks rose from his small, black square glasses.
Lunè smiled as she returned to finish the last couple of clothes ‘’ No, grandpa, I’m fine ‘’
Her grandfather sat down on the wooden brown staircase as he spoke quietly
Lunè looked down onto the cut grass and sat down next to him as she sighed and spoke.
‘’ I’m okay’’ she said as she looked at the famous rich side of town.
‘’ You know, I never actually said thank you for all the work you have done for us in the last five years’’
He said nudging her shoulder ‘’ Thank you ‘’.

’’ Grandpa you don’t have to- ‘’ ‘’ oh yes I do ‘’ he said ‘’ I know you hate it, wish life was different for you
I wish that too.......for you ‘’ Lunè sighed as her eyes slowly swarmed with tears. ‘’ Grandpa, you’re the only one who sees it ‘’ her grandfather hugged her lightly as she sniffed her nose ‘’ You deserve to go out and have some fun ‘’
Lunè smiled at him ‘’ you heard that? ‘’ ‘’ I heard it from the living room ‘’. They both chuckled as they stared at the town. Whistle sounds were heard as a big loud pop noise began; pink and blue fireworks rose up from the sky as it was announced a new celebration had been made.

Suddenly the wolves approached the plate and devoured the food she prepared. Their white sharp teeth gripped the boney pork, ripping it apart. ‘’ Hey, Fuma, be nice to Taki ‘’ Lunè scolded the wolves as Fuma whimpered.
Lunè sat down on the brown wooded floor, glaring at them lovely. She then patted the wolves one by one.
Thier eyes glow brighter with their significant colors. The older, more gentle wolf eyes glow green,
EJ had more height taller than the others; he was sweet with his pack and Lunè, making her his loyal companion.
His eyes shined blue whenever he saw her. On the other hand, Haura was smaller; she rubbed his side as his drooling mouth glistened to his pearly white teeth. His eyes shined purple. Yuma, always jumping and bouncy around the dark attic.
His smile sparked while his eyes shined blue. Fuma growled and whimpered; Lunè knew he was different than the others. She smiled rubbing him lightly as he curled up next to her closing his grey eyes.
Jo was quiet, never making a slight whine, he mostly laid down as his team feast on the food.

Nicholas huffed as his wide smile crinkled his pink glowing eyes, when Lunè arrived to see them. She would always remember to very lightly kiss his scar on his grey slender body. The window in the attic was small, closed tightly shut.

The blurring moonlight gazed upon the dark sky she slept soundly as her tiny head lied on Jo’s body while her body lied on Yuma’s. They stayed with her awake until the bright morning. The cold hour shifted. Lunè went downstairs as she folded the dried laundry outside.

as K, the oldest gentler wolf laid on his chin. His bright green eyes shut soundly as he let out one last whimper.
EJ,more taller than the others, moaned sweetly as his blue eyes dimmed down. Haura, the smallest of the pack, looked at Lunè as she sobbed carefully. He licked her wet face as he laid back down and closed his purple eyes.
Yuma gave her a smile and a last howl as he buried his blue eyes in his paws. Fuma growled roughly as he peacefully laid his head on her legs, finally as she rubbed him lightly. He closed his grey eyes to rest. Jo, growled softly as Nichloas, Taki, and Maki closed their vibrant eyes. Lunè eyes gushed out tears as for a moment closed her eyes and yelp. She rested their bodies all together as she lightly kissed each and every one of them. Making sure she kissed Nichloas scar softly one last time.
She took her first step to the creaky stairs as she looked back one more time, never forgetting how they helped her.
Lunè reached downstairs as she swiped away her tears ‘’ They’re gone aren’t they ‘’ Her mother asked suddenly.

Hunter’s eyes gazed at her partner worriedly. Long, sharp paws broke through the black tank as glass scattered.
Blood spilled out of a girl who impacted the glass into her hip. The white, stainless glass doors were now splattered in dark red. Screams and moans were heard as Hunter covered her head. Growls screeched through building as she looked to her side, finding her lab partner chewed to flesh. Tears streamed down as she covered her ears from the haunting screams.
Glass sharps landed next to her as the red blurring light loudly pursed through the wall.
Hunter rubbed her red eyes as she placed the sharp object in her hand. She stood up and carefully while the big beast feasted on another person. She raised the glass over its big head when in that moment the big wolf whimpered.
The big bad wolf looked at Hunter as it whimpered again. Its eyes drooped down as Hunter glanced at the hurt animal.
‘’ Are you hurt ‘’ She asked it as it moaned again in pain. She kneeled lightly, touching the paw.

Everyday Hunter would gather her notes and begin to see the big growing family she took care of.
How they ate fast, how they howled at the tiny window when they saw the moon glowing.
Years went by, and as the world changed, discovering new automobiles, new places to work, new computers.
Hunter began to deteriorate, her mind begin to fill with obsession. Her parents worried when they saw their daughter never going back into the real world. One day Hunter was yet again up into the dark attic; The tiny wolf yelled when Hunter looked closely at it. ‘’ Hold still’’ she said impatiently as she imprinted a huge scar on the tiny wolf. ‘’ I have to be able to tell who’s who’’. She said as it whimpered again. Suddenly a loud growl was heard ‘’ Get away from him’’ Hunter looked back shocked as she saw the glowing green eyes of the leader.
The wolves all gathered around Hunter as her eyes grew afraid. The growls of their drooling mouths moved onto the creaky wood floors as their sharp eyes glow brightly. Her eyes shed tears as the growls grew louder, and more viciously. They moved closer inch by inch, as they got hungrier and hungrier. Hunter screamed, terrified of what might have happened. From there on out Hunter tried to live a normal life again never going back into the attic.
Once her kids grew and her husband died. Her mind never escaped the terror and horror she faced years ago.
when she discovered the scary violent wolves, she invented in that lab building.
Years later, older Hunter leans back on that brown rocking chair glancing at the orange sunset every night.
Still thinking about that night, occasionally while her kids force her to take the medicine, the doctor prescript she would frantically blur out ‘’ There’s wolves in the attic ‘’.

Lunè brushed her hair back as she walked through the narrow hallway. She placed a hand on the bathroom knob as
she quietly cried. Sitting down on the toilet, her chest lifted as her red, plumed face sparkled. She wiped her wet face
as she peered out the brown window. The grey moonlight saturated the orange sun. When an unexpected sound was heard. Lunè ‘s eyes widened abruptly as she stood up. ‘’ Mom, come on ‘’ Jonathan spoke softly as he sighed
‘’ No, no, no, they're gone ‘’ Hunter yelled out. Lunè frowned at her mother’s words.
Jonathan looked back at Lunè tiredly. As he softly spoke back to her again
‘’ Here mom, take your meds again.... They will help you ‘’
Jonathan gathered the nine medications in his hand.
Hunter gulped down the water as her eyes slowly began to falter.
‘’ We need to talk ‘’ Jonathan spoke roughly as he stood up and looked at his sister.
He puffed his checks as he exhaustedly looked at his sister.
‘’ Look, I know you want to explore...your life but who’s going to take care of her when she’s like that, ‘’
Jonathan spoke as he stared intensely at Lunè.
Lunè stared quietly back at him as he paced around.
Leo yelled out as they both rushed back to the living room.
‘’ Hurry’’ Hael said as Lyra cried in his tiny arms ‘’ Mommy is gone? ‘’.

Lunè gasp as she saw her mother’s eyes closed shut. ‘’ Oh, my god ‘’ Lunè said as Liora rushed through the room quickly. ‘’ Oh, my, God ‘’ ‘’ Oh, my, God, ‘’ Liora repeated as Jonathan stood there stunned. ‘’ Wha..what happened ‘’
he yelled at his grandfather as Luca shook his head. ‘’ What should we do? ‘’ Lunè asked ‘’ I... I don’t know ‘’
he said. As yelling was heard from across the hall, Fawn screamed ‘’ Lunè, what happened? ‘’
‘’ Someone say something ‘’. The children cried somberly seeing their mother laying on her brown, rocking chair
dazed. Luca kneeled down as he held his daughter’s hand; tears streamed down his face as Hunter looked at her daughter Lunè. ‘’ Lunè, Lunè, ‘’ Lunè gasped softly as she slowly walked over to her mother’s side. She kneeled down beside her grandfather as Hunter whimpered to her. ‘’ You always knew .... you always knew the truth’’
‘’ Thank you for believing it ...... for believing in me ‘’ ‘’ Go and be free now ‘’.
Liora clasped her hands together as Jonathan stared. Hunter glanced back at her six children and whispered
‘’ I love you all ‘’ as she took her last breath. Her eyes stayed open until Luca, her father closed them.
Luca rubbed Lunè back softly as she wept in his chest.

The orange sunlight casted her body gracefully as all of Hunter’s children gathered together. Luca stayed with Hunter
as he tightly held her cold hand. Jonathan scratched the back of his head as his bloodshot tears washed down his face.
‘’ What are we going to do ‘’ he asked. Liora shook her head undecided as she held Lyra in her arms.
‘’ I guess we can take her outside and bury her ‘’ She spoke as Jonathan and Lunè stared at her blankly.
‘’ What? It would be the right thing to do ‘’ she said defenseless as she bounced Lyra in her arms.
‘’ It’s okay Lyra ‘’ ‘’ She’s right ‘’ Jonathan said.
Lunè nodded as she sighed heading to the back porch ‘’ What about us, what can we do’’ Leo asked
as Jonathan stared at Lunè with this decision. She shook her head as she said ‘’ no, we can handle it ‘’
‘’ Oh, come on please ‘’ Leo said as his red eyes showed through his tiny eyes.
‘’ Lunè she was our mother too; we have to help ‘’ Hael said as he sniffed his eyes.
Lunè looked at her little brothers realizing their minds are as strong as adults.
‘’ Okay, ‘’ she spoke softly, ‘’ Here ‘’ Jonathan said as he tossed over a shovel.

The blazing sunlight withered through the stain, thick grass as everyone buried their mother to rest.
Jonathan wiped the sweat from his forehead and sighed heavily. ‘’ Well, look at it this way ‘’
‘’ We won’t have to take care of a crazy, sick, lady anymore ‘’ ‘’ Jonathan ‘’ Lunè and Liora whispered.
as they stared at him. ‘’ I’m just saying mom was a lot ‘’ So? ‘’ Liora said madly. ‘’Lunè you get it, right? ‘’
he asked. Lunè swiped the dirt off from her hand as she softly said ‘’ She wasn’t crazy ‘’
‘’ Yes, she was ‘’ Lunè kneeled down as she rubbed the baby back, playing with her yellow duck toy on the ground.
‘’ Even if she was, she was still your mother Liora said ‘’ A silent moment surface as only the sounds of the shovel hitting the ground blasted through their ears. ‘’ Barely ‘’.
Luca slowly walked through Fawn’s room as she stared out the window behind her. ‘’ What are they doing, what... what happened’’. Luca sat down on his wife’s bed as he cupped her soft cheeks. ‘’ Our...daughter....is gone ‘’
‘’ What ... what do you mean ... she’s gone ‘’. ‘’ Shh.... she’s gone ‘’. Fawn stared blankly at her husband as tears struck down. ‘’ The ....kids....are...digging...her...grave...’’ Luca said as he wiped his sniffed nose.
Fawn and Luca looked through the window as they saw kids digging up dirt for their dead mom.
‘’ What are we going to do......ohmygod. ‘’ Look’’ he said, looking at his wife’s green eyes

Luca opened the back door wheeling out Fawn ‘’ Are you guys okay ‘’ he asked Jonathan as he lightly patted his back.
Lunè sat down on the grass as she stared out ‘’ Hey’’. Hi, Lunè said softly, it’s okay, now it’s sad now, but in the future, you are going to look back, and you are going to be happy and smiling, right? He asked.
‘’ I don’t think I'll ever be happy grandpa ‘’ she said as she looked up at him.
‘’ Yes, you will, I’ll make sure of it ‘’. Fawn looked at her buried daughter when Luca came and planted a kiss on the top of her head whispering ‘’ I love you ‘’ and heading back inside.

The big pink tree shook violently as the wind blew harshly. The leaves rustled as the movement in the sky clouded still.
Rain droplets splattered onto the children as they swarmed together. ‘’ Oh no’’ Heal spoke ‘’ Relax its only rain’’

‘’ No, no, no, ‘’ Lunè repeated as she covered her wet nose. ‘’ Where’s...... where is he Jonathan ......where’s grandpa?’’
She spoke as teardrops hit the wet grass. Jonathan held his sister's arm lightly as he looked at her eager face.
‘’ Please tell me... no... No... ‘’ she cried out as her veins were visible. ‘’ Lunè ‘’ he spoke softly as he tried to comfort her.
Lunè paced around ‘’ No....no....no.....no... ‘’. Suddenly, the flames burned the brown rustic windows to the crest.
A hand was placed at the back door window ‘’ No............’’ Jonathan held Lunè to her waist as she tried to move to the burning door. Hael took off his green glasses as he wiped the tears from his sleeve. Leo looked at the house he had grown to know devastatedly, Liora held tightly to the crying baby as Fawn stared blankly watching her husband pass on,
As Jonathan looked down to see Lunè pleading down to her knees with red bloodshot eyes and screaming from the top of her lungs. ‘’ No........please come back....grandpa....come back’’.

Jonathan then realized the hurt and struggled his little sister was facing all of these years.
The pain and the heartache she carried with her. ‘’ Lunè, it’s your time to go, be free I got it now ‘’.
Lunè faced her brother as he kneeled down. Lunè breath hitched as her eyes blurred seeing her burning house;
her eyes dazed as her chest heated, burning her inside as the flames engulfed.

Jonathan hit the wood one more time as it finally stayed in place. ‘’ Jonathan, we have mail ‘’ the twins said unison as they lightly chuckled running around the big grand house. Jonathan grabbed the mail as he opened it to find a letter from Lunè.
He patted his dirty hands on his white t-shirt and read it slowly.
‘’ Hello, Jonathan, it’s me Lunè, I hope you like the new house. I hope it’s got a better space than the last one.
I wish mom and grandpa could see it. I hope grandma is fond of it too, anyways thank you for believing in me
and mom, Mom was right, all these years I thought she was crazy, but she wasn’t’’.
Jonathan moved slightly, taken aback from the statement.
‘’ Thank you for letting me feel free, I will live now, live for myself.
Thank you again, I will run wild F.R.E.E
Jonathan smiled as he held the letter and went inside. ‘’ Leo, can you make sure Lyra is alright ‘’
‘’ Hey ‘’ Liora said loudly as the twins cheered. Together as the moonlight shined, they gathered together to eat as a family. ‘’ Hey, where’s grandma ‘’ Liora said.

The sound of blue waves shifted soundly. As flocks of white birds chirped through the white cloudy skies.
Small children laugh from afar as Fawn’s white freckle face gleamed. A soft sigh escaped from her mouth as she took off her black tinted sunglasses. She rolled her wheelchair to the creamy beige sand and carefully stood up.
The waves lightly splattered her pale feet. As she glanced at the blurring, blazing sun, she whispered softly.
‘’ Now, you can take me ‘’ The shining sun beamed as her closed wrinkle-tired eyes crinkled.
Her weightless arms hung openly as she placed a wide smile. The waves moved her body.
When suddenly, ‘’ Mommy, mommy, why is there a wheelchair near the water ‘’ A little girl asked as she licked her ice cream ‘’ I don’t know? .... Come on, let’s go home.

The city streets zoom with automobiles as the burning sun blaze with light. Lunè smiled brightly as her hands were placed on the wheel. Soft music played soundly on the radio as one single – tear slipped down her check. Remembering the nine wolves that helped her realize to finally be free.
