There are so many companies in a border region that would like to work cross-border, but experience difficulties in doing so, or don’t even try at all. For entrepreneurs or people doing business, it’s actually a shame to be bound by borders. Why not use the strength of both worlds by combining forces from workers from different countries and entrepreneur in more countries daily? How come people go shopping and dining across the border, but not use the advantages of doing business across the border?

Our team members

Markus is a very tall Estonian guy, who is not afraid of the cold. He is from Tallinn, Estonia and studies International Law. He decided to participate in PREMIUM, because "it seemed like an interesting thing to take part of and an opportunity to do something different."

If I were a sin, I would be gluttony, because I like to eat a lot.

If I were a fabric, I would be leather, because it’s resilient.

If I were a verb, I would be to discover because I'm curious.

If I were an adjective, I would be generous because it’s who I am.

Our team members

Krystian is 25 years old; from Łódź, Poland. He is currently doing a Master in International Business at the SBE. Loving all things French, he chose to do his exchange year in Nantes. He also loves Maastricht University, as demonstrated by the blue university hoodie he is always wearing. He decided to join the PREMIUM programme because “it seems to be a great opportunity to meet new people and do something original.”

If I were a sport, I would be football, because it's a team sport requiring everyone’s contribution. If I were a historical year, I would be 1992, as it's the year when everything began for me. If I were a writer, I would be Andrzej Sapkowski, as he's the best Polish fantasy writer. If I were my favourite dessert, I would be cheesecake with raspberry topping.

 Julie is 23 years old, from Brussels, Belgium. Before starting a Master’s degree in European Studies in FASoS, she studied anthropology and sociology. She likes to keep busy as she is currently involved in 4 projects, including PREMIUM.

If I were a song, I would be Beyoncé’s ‘Run the World’ because all women are queens. If I were an artist, I would be Banksy - for street start and society. If I were a color, I would be orange for the sunrise. If I were a spice, I would be pepper, spicing life up.

Elodie

She enjoys swimming, because exercise provides her with a feeling of well-being and allows her to clear her mind. She loves to be outdoors and to discover new places. She is very determined and is always 100% involved whenever she takes part in a project. She decided to do the PREMIUM programme because she wanted to gain some practical experience. She was also convinced by friends that it was a great project where she would meet wonderful people and learn a lot about herself and team work.

If I were my favourite meal, I would be Italian home-made pasta with fresh tomato sauce and lots of seasonal vegetables.

If I were one of the seven wonders of the world, I would be the Egyptian pyramids, because they are fascinating in their precision.

If I were a movie, I would be Love Actually, because it shows that love is all around. Both romantic and a funny, it is the perfect combination for me. 

If I were one of the 5 elements, I would be the earth because it represents the foundation of our lives.

Our first meeting went very well and we are looking forward to completing our first assignment on the 8th of January!
