I really enjoyed Lost & Found based on a true story by Mei Yu.

It reminded me of when I moved to a city from a rural community when I was 12 where I only knew about 20 people beforehand. And only knew where the big stores were, not what streets were what. However, I did not have to learn an entirely new language.

I hope that she goes on to create more graphic novels like this, it was incredible.

I recently reread and finished Julia Quinn's book, Romancing Mister Bridgerton for the first time in 10 years.

I was just as enthralled with it now as I was when I first read it in 2003 while I was in high school.

It's quite interesting how immature Colin could be and how he overlooked Penelope for at least 10 years.

10/10

I'm also looking forward to and dreading seeing how the Netflix adaptation changes the plot, etc.

It's been a while since I've reviewed anything. But I plan to review this book I won through goodreads. I just received it yesterday and got to chapter 4 before I decided to stop for the day.

The Reluctant Brides Collection - Available Now

I received a free copy of the book from the publisher to review.

As there are different authors writing, each novella varies in content.

At some points in some of the novellas, I did end up confusing myself.

This book makes you think about what kinds of things others dealt with many years ago.

Although it took me longer than I intended to take to read the book as I was busy the whole week. Which is why I prefer how short these stories are.

I enjoyed every story in this book

I received an advanced reading copy from the publisher to review.

This is a multi author anthology collection containing four stories.

Even though the fourth story in the book was a more modern historical romance, it was still great.

I enjoyed reading the book, it was definitely a great read.

Christi Caldwell - The Spitfire

I was given an advanced reading copy to review by the publisher.

Coming into it at first, the book seemed like it was going to be very long. Perhaps it was because I was reading on my phone.

while the book wasn't a long read, it was in no ways a short read.

The length was perfect, I just wish that there was an epilogue.

Clara was a former whore and madam and with her friend and business partner Reggie. They built and opened up the music hall together.

Henry used to be a strait-laced serious man. Clara changed everything.

I had a great time reading this book.

Seize The Night - Sherrilyn Kenyon McQueen

This is the first book in the Dark Hunter series that I ever bought. It wasn't in the best condition when i bought it and nine to ten years later, it looks like it's falling apart.

I've read this book so many times, it's my favorite one.

With what happens with Nick's mom and all, th his is one of the most important books in the series.

I especially love the boobaroni (or was it penironi?) that Tabitha made. I'd love to have seen Val's expression.

I love the mix of humor with seriousness.

What with him constantly refueling the statue of his friend. (Or lover...)

I need to reread this yet again.

Styxx

Sherrilyn Kenyon Mcqueen

It's not a secret but I absolutely love Sherrilyn Kenyon's McQueen's books

This one brings on the feels, it tells Styxx's side of quite a few of the events in the other books.

I can't even get into detail on what his uncle did to him, what Apollo did to him and so on and so forth. Heck, what even Apollymi did to him.

The poor guy suffered for at least twelve thousand years alone, in isolation.

Every thing happens for a reason, rebirth, etc. Styxx awakened his latent powers that he never knew that he had, powers that saved the day.

I had a great time reading this book, each story was well written. And I couldn't put it down, to my detriment as I had to go to sleep since I had work in the morning.

Dukes By The Dozen

It took me a few weeks to finish this book. Due to being extremely busy at work.

I really did love each of the stories in this collection.

It has been a month or so since I finished reading it and I don't remember much of the plot.

Each story corresponds with a month.

Eventually I'll go back and read it again.
