Unfortunately due to a loss in my family I will not be on here much for awhile, probably none at all for a few weeks to maybe months. It all depends on what happens. To anybody I’m rping with I apologize for this and will get to you when I can. Roland’s jaw tightened before it relaxed a little. Thankfully he wouldn’t have to pay anyone for getting the girl. He took the bounty paper and ripped the paper up, throwing it away. “Fucking fine. I hope you ate her heart. She wasn’t good for anything else.”

“ you’re joking right? far to unworthy for such acts.” her face torn in disgust and insult. “ the girl ran her tongue worse than it was to cut out. And if she cried any louder the world beyond this one would make noise complaints, beside anyone willing to offer sex as an exchange for life is pathetic.” 

A sting of a smirk appeared for only second as a thought came to mind, something to get under his skin. “ I would say you need to get stronger women, but if that happen then you would have no control and be the one on your knees.”

Roland sighed, relieved she had finally left after forever it seemed like. He sat down and did paperwork which took him hours. It was very late when he finally decided to leave and go back to his apartment. He didn't even bother to turn the light on. He kicked his shoes off and his belt and then pulled his shirt off.

“Oh no? The boy would learn more about everything there then any place here you could bring him. There’s more potential then living this life. He could have anything he wants living with me and you.” He didn’t raise his voice and he kept glancing over towards the door to make sure the boy didn’t come back unannounced.

“teach him nothing good, he’s fine here. He likes it here, he likes the Tops and so do I.” she kept her tone the same,”living with-…living with you?! Are you crazy. You don’t even like children Roland. What part of ‘ you are not to go near my son’ did you not hear?!” 

A minute later the boy stepped out in his pajama’s “ready for bed mommy” the boy smiled unaware of the tension that had been brewing in the room. Phoibe seemed to relax the moment she saw the boy a soft smile returned her lips. “oh course sweetheart.”

"Did you want to hear a bedtime story?" Roland said enthusiastically with a sly grin. "I know one of adventure and mystery." He spoke to the boy, watching Phoibe from the side of his view.

She pulled his hands up to her waist instead. She kissed him lightly before sitting up, “ then better get to work, so we can enjoy this again tonight.” Phoibe spoke with a soft yawn as she moved to the edge of the bed grabbing the nearest garments to wear.

He got up and went it the bathroom, pissed and then got dressed. Today he didn't look fancy like he usually did. He wore his "street" clothes, something he never seemed to do at all. He went into the kitchen and stared into the fridge. He slammed it shut when he didn't find anything that seemed good.

“Disappointed? Is that how you see it?” He said, letting her kiss him. He wanted to just fuck her but messing with her was very satisfying. Plus he could always leave and go get some girl that would do him good and quick.

In the morning Phoibe laid entangled with Roland, somewhere in that lingering state of no longer sleeping but not awake enough to do anything. She sighed heavily against his chest, it was these quiet times she treasured.

Roland rolled towards her, awake but keeping his eyes closed. His hand ran up and down her side. “What time is it doll?” He mumbled into her hair. As much as he wanted her body and not much else he did like to just lay here. But there was more important business then sex right now.

She groaned when he rolled, “ early” she mumbled not wanting to get up. Phoibe sighed and leaned over to grab his watch off the night stand. “ 8 o-clock.” She said as she laid back down beside him. 

“do we have to get up right now?”

Vitus grinned widely as he nodded and quickly went off into his bed room, Phoibe just stared at him a cross look between frighten and angered. How did he get in her suite? Why was he here she though he was going to leave her alone. “What are you doing here? And why are you with my son?!” She spoke in a harsh but low tone not wanting Vitus to hear. “ I thought you were leaving Roland”

“I did leave though…. and then I came here. Sweet boy, likes to have company.” He smiled, looking off in the direction of where Vitus went. He put his smoke back up to his lips to take a few deep breaths from it. “He’s still quite young. How old?”

That didn’t exactly work the first time!”  She found herself getting more upset being confronted with such a fatal flaw of hers and one of her greatest fears. Abandonment, even from someone she had tried so hard to convince herself she hated.

“were you really happy like that? you yell and drank, got so insanely jealous over clients you killed two but at the same time had no problem sleeping with any woman who glanced your way… cause I wasn’t happy and I..I can’t go back.” She moved around him to open the door for him, the defeated look on her face.
