LOST THEORY (ON-ISLAND CONCEPTION)

there's something i've always thought about, which i'm not sure if it's already been proven or not?? i own the mf lost encyclopedia book so i should check it LOOL. but anyways, if its not confirmed, its something that i've always theorized, which is that the reason why women are unable to give birth on the island anymore (if they conceived on island and stayed on island for delivery) is because of the foot statue. hear me out. that foot is apart of an egyptian statue for the goddess of fertility, Taweret. it used to be completely intact, as seen in that one scene in season 5 where the group is still stuck on the broken record of time, and also possibly in jacob's origin story?? i honestly forget cause it's been a minute since i've seen it. point being, there was a time where that statue was still one unit, and i'm gonna guess it dates back to pre jacob. here she is in all her glory:

anyways when richard's fine delicious sexy ass finally pulls up as a slave within the black rock ship, that thing takes a fuckin nose dive for the statue and completely demolishes it, leaving it as only the foot. my theory is that, because the statue is now broken, so is the goddess's protection of fertility over the island, thus causing all on-island conceptions to be rendered fatal if the mothers don't go off shore to give birth. Has this shit already been proven??? i should probably look it up instead of making a damn fool of myself by being SEVERELY late to the party but its something that i've ALWAYS thought about and have been meaning to make a post ab. I LOVE THEORIZING ABOUT ALL OF THE SHIT THAT LOST DOES NOT BLATANTLY TELL THE AUDIENCE!! a lot of it IS explained, just very subtly Ok edit. Umm i just looked it up and apparently a lot of other ppl share this belief, but apparently its argued that its because of the incident with the swan hatch back in dharma days thats the cause of it. i'm assuming because of the severe levels of electromagnetism?? I have no idea but honestly i think my theory slays more
