I don't think my ex really understood my taste in books. I always looked around the classic literature section with her, and talked about Shakespeare and Norse mythology like Beowulf, and how J.R.R Tolkien created fantasy worlds ... And I got a book by James Franco for my birthday.
For Members Only: Library debuts in London
The latest foray in Londonâs busy members only club scene is Library, a book-centered destination with all the usual amenities plus a whole lot more.
It also offers a  boutique hotel on the premises and âThe Kitchenâ which will feature rotating menus influenced by the latest cookbooks and will even have the author/chef  occasionally come in and cook. Then there is âRoom Sevenâ with its floor to ceiling bookshelves which will showcase a collection of reading material chosen by select current authors.Â
Forbes recently spoke with Ronald Ndoro, the man behind the concept who says one of the main draws of Library will be âthe impressive roster of events lined up for members including book readings, live music and literary seminars. Art consultants Tani Burns and Andrew Hancock will curate a revolving series of exhibitions and 19 Greek Street, the design agency who oversaw the interiors of the club, will host dinners for the design community.â
And on what makes the Library different he says, âObviously the fact that we double as a boutique hotel helps us to stand out. And of course our extensive collection of books. Members can come to read, to work, for a massage, for the gym, for a meal or to sleep!â

+3000 notes wtf is wrong with you people this is the first time one of my posts gets so many notes
You've come a long way Mr CraigÂ
For Godâs sake, let us sit upon the ground And tell sad stories of the death of kings; How some have been deposed; some slain in war, Some haunted by the ghosts they have deposed; Some poisonâd by their wives: some sleeping killâd; All murderâd: for within the hollow crown That rounds the mortal temples of a king Keeps Death his court and there the antic sits, Scoffing his state and grinning at his pomp, Allowing him a breath, a little scene, To monarchize, be fearâd and kill with looks, Infusing him with self and vain conceit, As if this flesh which walls about our life, Were brass impregnable, and humourâd thus Comes at the last and with a little pin Bores through his castle wall, and farewell king! Cover your heads and mock not flesh and blood With solemn reverence: throw away respect, Tradition, form and ceremonious duty, For you have but mistook me all this while: I live with bread like you, feel want, Taste grief, need friends: subjected thus, How can you say to me, I am a king?

Me and Daunt BooksÂ
Why am I excited this for this weekend ? Because I get to see Guardians of the Galaxy, a movie that can be summarised with the above.Â
"So whatâs stopping you from doing the things you want to in life?"
A Clockwork Orange
Only two chapters in, and I'm speechless on how artistically violent Alex is. He sees physical abuse and rape as kind of finesse, an art in which he holds himself to the highest standards. He describes his razor, for example, as something he can âflash and shine artistic.â Likewise, brutality brings out the rhythmic, colorful, and poetic linguist in Alex. Violence heightens his powers of metaphor and description, as he delightedly notes the pouring of blood âin like red curtainsâ, the color of a womanâs nipple, and the âfour-in-a-barâ screaming he hears during sex. He berates his "droogie's" for contaminating his masterpieces with vulgar laughter, and shoddy appearance. This is dark, and sadistic, but almost justified by how elegantly he portrays violence.Â
