The latest in a series of painted wood and leather explorations, “Half-Breed” is a freestanding sculpture blending the two materials. Resembling a creature, the process of creating pieces in this series of work is rather brutal. The sculptures are pierced and sewn with sinew, bent, drilled and forced into being.
