OOC: If anyone wants to rp with Carpenter just poke me and we can plot or something :)
I think it's interesting Jesus was a carpenter
I mean He used to fix up and make furniture and other things. He likely was quite used to using nails. But the whole time, I bet He knew every single time He hit a nail into the wood, He was preparing Himself to be nailed to the cross so that He could fix us up and make us new.
Goodness gracious, that one really hit me.
I haven’t decided yet whether you even have a future. But I can tell you this, trying to play me against my own crew will not help your cause.
Setting Sails{Underland} (Open)
“What makes you believe that I will allow you on my ship? What could you possibly have that I want that would tempt me so to let you aboard?”
"Are we there yet?" Alice asked for the twentieth time that day. There were only a handful of things a person could do on a ship. A ship in the middle of an ocean.
His eyes had narrowed yet again, staring ahead as his hands turned the wheel to keep it steady. “Keep asking me that and i’ll go slower.” He says with a gruff tone. “You will know when we get there.”
Alice just stared at the Carpenter as he stared at the sea. Obviously there was more to the man, but he never seemed to show it. She assumed it was because he was a Captain. You had to be tough, inside and out, to run a ship like this.
She had just sat down in the shade when he spoke again. “Oh uh…you said it was a kingdom right? Well…” Alice had to think back to all the movies and shows she’d seen. “I guess a castle and kings and queens and stuff. But you said there were four Queens, why do we have to go to this one?”
“Ifa- The Blue Queen is my Queen.” He replied shortly, his attentions being pulled from the water to a small scuffle on the deck below. He narrowed his eyes and watched as the two men were pulled apart and pushed in different directions. Walrus, who had been the one to keep order on the ship of course had been the one to split them up.
The two men exchange a small nod and continue to their duties. Kian stepped away from the wheel and turned to head down to the deck below. “Buckley, take the wheel, keep her to the shallows and keep northeast.” He shouts at the first man who he’d seen seemingly standing around. No one on the ship got rest, save for the night and even then Kian ran a tight sleep schedule. Growling to himself as he heard the girls footsteps behind him he started to make his rounds of the ship. Jumping in when a man couldn’t tie a knot tight enough or pulling a rope to tighten the sail.
“When are you going to stop following me.” He says as he turns to go to the captains quarters.

“And you don’t talk enough!” She shot back, turning around and leaning on the railing. “I don’t want to bug Walrus, I want to bug you instead.” Alice gave Corey a ‘no offence’ look. “Tell me about the place we’re going.”
He remained silent as he steered the vessel. Staring out ahead he needed to keep concentration. If he’d ran across another pirate ship, or even a navy ship of any of the queens they could be in danger. He knew the waters, knew how to out maneuver many a ship but it took firing and getting shot at. Something he could not do with this…Alice on board. He had to know if The Alice had perished upland…and how long ago.
Once he’d had time to collect his thoughts he spoke. “What do you think it looks like.”

She shaded her face and laughed. “Man I’d love to see you try that.” Alice turned and leaned over the railing behind him. The water sparkled and danced in the sun, looking like diamonds instead of boring sea water. “Where are we going again? I don’t want to end up sunburnt by the time we get there.”
“You talk too much.” He gestured over to Corey. “Go bug Walrus for a while.” He says turning the ships wheel a few degrees east.
