Taking back the folder, the brunette offered the girl a thankful smile, relieved that its contents were still in her possession. “It’s actually my notes for the next student government meeting,” she replied, answering the unsaid question. “I don’t need it per se but I always find it nice to see everything written down in front of me.”

Adira smiled at her while giving her a nod, “Wow, that’s ... cool. Still sounds like it would be pretty bad if you had lost it. Those student government meetings could get pretty intense I imagine,” she let out a light laugh, adjusting her bag on her shoulder.

“So what’re your plans for Christmas? You gonna go do anything worth while?” Asher asked the other as he looks over at them as he walks down the stairs.

“Honestly, no. I’m probably going to end up staying here. My brother might come and visit,” she shrugged. Her tone of voice did nothing to imply she was actually upset about her somber family situation. “What about you?” she glanced back cheerily.

“Tell me how important class is,” he said kissing along her neck, “Homework to turn in,” he said trailing his lips against her jawline. “How you’d rather be there than here.” he teased before kissing her again, as his hands move down to the lower part of her back. All of those were good reason to leave, but he enjoyed the secrecy of it all and honestly he just needed to get it out of his system.

She bit her lip as he continued to kiss her, her mind hardly even registering what he was saying. “Class is important. And there was actually an assignment due today,” she told him, before his lips met hers again. “But it’s not as fun,” she smirked. She pulled him in for another kiss, her finger hooking onto the waist of his pants to pull him closer.

Moving his hands from the wall to her face he chuckled. “Was that uncertainty I heard,” he said shaking his head, “You can always go to chemistry,” he said figuring that scholarship students cared about classes more than him. But he was a good student so he didn’t care. “But you gotta convince me to let you go.” he teased as he began kissing her neck.

She did care about class, she had no other choice but to considering her circumstances. But getting good grades was easy for her, she never had to worry too much. Biting her lip, she held back a gasp as he kissed her neck. “What do I gotta do to convince you?” she teased, her hand moving to the nape of his neck, playing with his hair.

“I like it,” he nodded. “Not really, it’s better than any library I used to go to.” He said honestly, it had books he needed, there we’re drug deals happening constantly to his knowledge. At least not when he was there.

“Used to go to? What sort of libraries were those?” she questioned, intrigued by his response. Adira barely stepped foot in any library, even in her past schools, so the thought made her shiver.

“I know right, the best,” he said with a chuckle before placing his hand on either side of her head. “Then let’s ditch,” he said before leaning down again to kiss her twice before pulling back. “Unless you’re a goody two shoes.” he said hearing the tardy bell go off. 

She returned both of the kisses, holding back a smirk. “Ditch?” she repeated, raising her eyebrows at the idea. “I am not a goody two shoes,” she said, lightly smacking him on the chest with a laugh. “Or at least not a big one.” Looking over his face, she took a breath, “... fine, lets ditch then.”

“Check the lost and found to be sure,” he added before chuckling. “Of course, where else am I going to get complete silence,” he said reaching for a cigarette but remembered he couldn’t in here without being kicked out.

“I guess so - the librarians here are pretty ruthless, they keep it pretty quiet,” she whispered, looking around. “But don’t you find this place, like just a tad creepy? Like it would be a perfect setting for a horror movie,” she lightly chuckled, looking back at him.

“I’m just trying to thank you for giving me back my phone,” he said with a chuckle as he pulled back and began playing with the ends of her hair with his finger before smirking. “But if you don’t wanna, I’ll go off to physics.”

She rolled her eyes, which was something she did quite often around him. “Wow what a thank you”, she laughed lightly. “We both know you would much rather be here instead of physics, just like I’d rather be here instead of chemistry. So?”

“Um, I’m not sitting on a jacket,” he assured her. He wouldn’t have taken the seat if there was one, because he’d have assumed it was in use.

Giving up, she let out a small sigh. “Its okay, someone’s probably stolen it by now,” she shrugged. “So, do you usually come to the school library to take naps?” she teased.

“That’s more of a you problem then a me problem.” He said taking her by the waist before leading her back further into the locker room so they were near the showers. “Do you really want to wait?” He asked before kissing her.

“Just a me problem?” She smirked, while rolling her eyes. “Please.” Ignoring his question, she returned the kiss. Feeling her back hit the wall, she pulled away as she grimaced from the cold tile. “I think you’re the one who doesn’t want to wait here.”

“Do I know you?” he asked rubbing his eyes,yawning, looking at the clock glad not that much time had past, he didn’t even remember falling asleep. But he knew he had to get back to studying.

Raising her eyebrows, she looked him over. “No? I was just - I was here yesterday and lost my sweater and I was sitting in that chair .. and I think you’re sitting on it?” she awkwardly motioned towards the chair. “Sorry I didn’t mean to wake you - well I did, but you know what I mean,” she continued.

“So…” he said blinking a few times. “I’ll see you around,” he said before giving a slight nod to the locker rooms before he started walking away.

Seeing his nod, her eyes followed to the locker rooms. Before she could react, he had walked away. Letting out a sigh, she waited a couple minutes to not cause any sort of attention before following him. “We said we would wait a couple days because of last time? Remember what happened? The whole almost getting seen thing?” she quietly told him, once seeing he was the only one in the room.

Tav had been busy these past three weeks, having had to go to court, sign some papers, figure out what to do with the insurance check his mom had which ultimately  he just gave to the man who was his father. And now back at school, he found himself asleep in the library in one of the comfortable chairs, it wasn’t until he felt a shadow blocking the light on his face that he opened his eyes to see just a dark figure. “Hi?”

Being in the library wasn’t Adira’s most favourite thing. She found it odd and honestly? Slightly spooky. But she had a last minute tutoring session the day previous and it happened to be the meeting point. Much to her dismay, she had forgotten her favourite sweater while there and had to make her way back. Once she stepped up to the chair she was sitting in before, she let out a small sigh seeing the sleeping boy. “Uh, hello .. wakey wakey,” she spoke in a loud whisper.

Having cheer practice right after class, Max was quick to pack up her stuff and leave the classroom, not noticing an object falling out of her bag. Confused as to why someone was tapping her shoulder, her face quickly lit up in realization as her eyes settled upon the folder she had prepared for the next student government meeting. “Thank you so much, I honestly wouldn’t know what I would have done if I had left it.”

Adira forced out a small smile once seeing who it was she had, embarrassingly, chased after. Handing it back to her, she glanced over what the item was, trying to think of all the things it could be. Probably for one of the girl’s many clubs or teams she was a part of. “No problem. I saw it fall out and figured .. well, it must be important.”

Jessa halted in her tracks upon hearing the voice yelling after her, startled to realize that she had dropped something. Mildly panicked and putting on the brightest of smiles she could manage to convince the other that she wasn’t in a panic, she turned around and walked over to the girl. To her relief, the only thing that had fallen out of her purse was her sketchpad. She felt silly for inwardly freaking out in the first place, but she’d rather not think up a lie for why she had medicine that didn’t belong to her in her bag. “Thank you,” she replied awkwardly, given that niceties were not her forte despite that not being as true as of late. “Seriously. That thing has my life in it and if I lost those sketches, I would literally die– Okay, maybe not literally, but I spent all morning with drama nerds and I think their dramatic tendencies are rubbing off on me.” 

Adira gave the girl a small smile, feeling that it was slightly awkward but what was she going to do? Leave it on the ground for anyone to pick it up? Laughing lightly at her response and explanation, she gave the girl a small nod, “I get it, its just one of those things that would make you freak out if you lost - I don’t think its being dramatic at all. Honestly, I’d probably act the same way if I lost something like that ... and I haven’t been around drama nerds,” she admitted, reassuring her. Its true, if she had lost her camera or something that she had that was more personal of hers, she would be just as dramatic, maybe even more.
