I don’t get money for my work. I do it out of love. I tried once or twice to get commission work but it never worked out so I honestly get nothing but enjoyment from my work. It saddens me to see AI suddenly trying to pull the soul from art. AI art is not art. Support real artists. We put our souls into every stroke of the brush, pen, quill. out of every drop of ink. We love our work.

Recap

Ink was a very unfortunate mare. With a destiny that’s tragic.

Years ago , when she first got her cutie mark, her power was so out of control she ended many lives including her own beloved parents.

Celestia found her in a pool of blood and ink and took pity on the weeping girl. She knew the child did not intend to harm anyone. And that she would have to carry that memory and guilt with her for the rest of her life.

She also knew the reason the girl had no control after many teachers quit trying to help her learn her power. This unfortunate little filly was a element of chaos. Celestia had been dealing with the elements of chaos for years. Usually banishing them to keep her subjects safe.

But the girl was kind, and didn’t want to hurt others. Celestia didn’t have the heart to punish her. So, when she was old enough to work, the princess found her a job at the canterlot motel. She explained to the head of the hotel inks predicament and asked them to help her learn to live among the other ponies of equestria.

But the poor mare just kept finding trouble. Celestia saw the shadow of chaos, of discord in her. But wasn’t sure what to do.

What she was unaware of is that discord had visited the mare one night while she was crying near his statue. He could enter her mind just for a moment and tried to convince her to release him with her gift to bring art to life.

However , when she finally broke down because of bullying at her work, and did as he asked, she drew his horns on backwards.

So she did not free discord. No. She freed his reflection , or echo as he called himself. It was the echo of discord Celestia had seen.

He always tried to convince her to draw. With the ink that seemed to call to her. Ink seemed to be the only tool that would bring out her chaos.

He tormented her daily, tried to gain control over her actions. Calling her a monster to remind her of her past.

But when discord was free and reformed , he paid them a little visit.

He refused to reobsorb echo since it was a part of his old self and instead trapped the shadow in his dimensional pocket. His home.

He decided that he would teach ink how to use her magic fir the better of equestria. He decided that if he did he could prove to Celestia that if they gather the elements of disharmony like ink, it could benift them all in the long run.

However ink still lives under a stigma due to her actions in the past. And often finds herself picked on. Or worse in trouble of being the cause of something bad.

For you see, inks element of disharmony is tragedy. She fears her life is doomed to be nothing but tragic. Discord claims her element is only causing her tragedy because she fears it and keeps it all locked up inside. So the only outlet her magic has is on herself. He try’s to explain how her element is needed in life. That without tragedy, people would become complacent in life. Just accept that good will just happen and you don’t have to work for it. But she didn’t seem to understand.

And now your caught up on inks tale of woe and see the potential she can offer.

i was working on the next update for ink heart and then my freinds in my stream started making meme jokes to go with this pose of the professor. Here are a few from the stream.  And theres a blank one so you can make your own. Enjoy.

I can’t stop giggling at this ! It’s old but it makes me smile !

1. It is said that grief has five stages, and I find that silly. I didn’t feel denial, anger, bargaining, depression, or acceptance. I went from denial, to anger.

2.While the Unicorns tried to figure out where I went I had the TARDIS activate the shields and opened the scanners to read the energy they were using against me.

 I spent the next few moments having the TARDIS remake my Laser Screwdriver,

 3. and then I opened the door.

 The didn’t have time to react as I shot them one after another,

4. the last two managing to spend the last moments of their life in giving me the data I needed to protect myself from Magic. After all, if Arcane Magic was nothing more then an energy that unicorns use through focus in their horns and not an special ability they can access without said horn, then my TARDIS can block it with the shields.

 5. After that I followed their tracks back to the kingdom they came from and blew it off the face of the planet, causing it to rupture and pour the magic from under the ground and into the air, so I guess I created the Lay Lines themselves.

After that, I jumped ahead in time, and traveled far from there, keeping to the planet, until I found a new continent, Zebrica.
