she needed to make sure scout had actually forgiven her after treating her like shit on their trip to brazil. sure, alexis was dealing with the heartbreak of losing brooks and wanting that trip to solely be about getting fucked up and not giving a fuck but it still wasn’t fair that she practically deserted her friend in a random country. so, in hopes to truly be forgiven, she decided to bring over a few goodies and a bottle of wine for them to share, have a little night in. “scout!” she called out, knocking on her door loudly as she had the little present in one hand, the wine in the other, she hoped scout was up for company.

sure , alexis was probably the only reason caleb’s club was set on fire . but to be quite honest , caleb didn’t care about the club that much . what pissed him off was the fact the people did not fear him and allowed themselves to mess with him and mess with his work place . so he didn’t give two fucks about how brooks felt when it came down to whatever he had going on with alexis . when she texted him saying she might need some help falling asleep before their little trip to nyc , he agreed to come over . when he got there he assumed the door was already unlocked , so he didn’t even knock . and he was right , he opened the door carefully before he stepped inside the house . a soft smirk appeared on his face as he heard the familiar voice . "hey princess . " he said softly as he walked into the bedroom . "look at you , looking all cute .“

alexis had really been trying to better herself and in all honesty, caleb had been a huge part in it. she hadn’t expected for the male to be such a great help in trying to get some self love back into her life. for most of her adult life, she had been used to being seen as the girl that people liked to fuck and not date, it had become such an ingrained part of her self-esteem and with everything that happened with brooks, it had only multiplied. but with caleb, despite their first interactions being purely about sex, he had pushed her to look deeper within herself and find that self-worth that she had been lacking all this time. she was beyond grateful for him. a wide smile planted on her lips, she sat up, her hands up in his direction in a motion for caleb to come closer as she leaned up and pressed his lips. “i’m always cute, what do you mean?” she teased, a soft hum leaving her lips, “i am not sleepy at all i hope you know that...”

alexis hated having to rely on sleeping medication to go to sleep so with that and her excitement of the trip caleb had planned for the two of them in new york, there was no way in hell she was going to sleep tonight. inviting caleb seemed like a good idea but who knew what would happen when he turned up but being alone with her mind didn’t seem like the wisest of choices so inviting him was the best option she had. she had told him to just come in, the door was unlocked and she wasn’t expecting anyone else so when she heard the door handle turn, she couldn’t wipe the smile off her face. “in here!” she called out, her hands resting in her chin, her feet in the air as she watched him walk into the bedroom. “hey handsome!”
