I know you said you felt like a creeper taking screenshots of her Instagram but would you mind sharing any relevant content? Hey! I had heard that which is………bizarre. She still has 4,000+ followers and lets random people like me who screen shot her stuff follow her but not public anymore…which she changed the second they announced the engagement basically…I’m not happy or mad I’m just like girl what is you doing? Anyway, in regards to relevant content, she hasn’t posted anything since the screen shots I shared from mid september  in which she announced one year to the wedding. I don’t know if nathan has competitions coming up or he’s just not interested in dealing with the engagement flack? I mean he has been posting some ash stories right? I’ll keep my eyes peeled for anything worth posting for sure.

Hey! Thank you for saying hi and checking on me! TBH I’ve been going thru some stuff and the hallie / nathan engagement pics were so freakin cute it broke my heart, and I’ve also been hesitating about posting them bc I don’t want to encourage more hate on her. Has everyone seen them? I heard rumors she made her account private again, not sure what the status of that is. I’m still on her follower list so I can share if necessary. Also welcoming all asks and comments on Nathan's recent appearances in charity swims, photo shoots and the hilarious story the other day where he signed a kid's head! 😂

I don't follow Nathan's fiance but I just happened to notice that she changed her Instagram settings back to private again. I wonder what happened and if it has anything to do w/ one of the fangirls who photoshopped her face on the engagement photos then tagged Nathan about it on twitter? Any ideas? They seem to he in WA on vacation(?) based on his Instagram stories yesterday.

I did not know this! I didn’t know a fan did that, I could see that being unnerving but at the same time she is still letting a bunch of random people like me follow her, I wonder if she would have gone thru and weeded people out to be removed? It is a delicate balance and I wouldn’t blame her but she opened the floodgates for this already. She’s still posting random stories of scenery and puppies. Hmmmm

I think the thing that I hate the most about halpal is that we don't see her being physically supportive. Yes, she shows support of instagram, but she's never physically at any of his meets. Conor, Ryan, and Cody's girlfriends are there yet she never is. She kinda hates on his job a little. It just doesn't set right with me.

I can see why you’d feel that. I’m not sure about this one, mostly because I’m a pretty practical person. I keep wondering how all these other sig others have the ability to show up physically all the time. Maybe the younger ones in college don’t have jobs during the summer. Conor is a special case bc she’s a model so her life is contact to contract gig to gig etc. I totally get what you’re saying, I just don’t want to hate on Hallie just because she has her own job and career ya know?

I'm glad to see you posting Nathan stuff and answering anons again. I miss those. I also miss nateezymybb's anons. She always had really sarcastic and hilarious anons. Do you know if she abandoned ship and no longer stans Nathan or is she just busy with life?

Thank you! I miss it all too, I’m trying to keep up with it while we have him being active ish! (Or rather, everyone being active for him). I have no idea but I doubt that it would be abandoning the fandom. seemed to have a pretty deep undying love for Nathan.

Didn't H post in Instagram Story that she's looking forward to relaxing in Italy w/ Nathan? Then how come she's in New York and he's playing 5th wheel to Ryan Murphy, Conor Dwyer, and their gfs?

Looks like due to her job it took her a while to get there (which by the way, how do I get that job? How do I get any of the jobs these significant others have that they can just drop everything and spend two weeks traveling? Am I alone in this? Lol). For those who can’t stand it brace yourselves for lots of cute travel pics of them. It’s happening. And I hate that i find it cute. PS as an aside, watching him be the wheels to all these young couples was hilarious.

It hurt a little to see Caeleb break Nathan's records in the 50 and 100 free during worlds. I'm so used to seeing Nathan's name and time next to the American Record slots. How do you think Nathan will adjust to no longer being the best American sprinter? He killed it in the relays but failure to make the 50 final must have stung at least a little bit.

I know! So sad. I honestly don’t know. I know he has to know that it was going to happen eventually as younger guys come up but we also know he’s got a deep burning competitive af fire inside. I wonder if he’s able to use it as motivation to try to take it back or if he thinks it’s not possible to (in the 50 I mean).

Remember how Nathan said he'd try to get on a relay if LA got the 2024 Olympics? Do you think he'll retire for sure after Tokyo now that LA isn't hosting the Olympics until 2028?

I don’t remember that, but that makes me smile so wide. I mean it seems like his bud Matt G wants to keep trying and he’s older than him (I think?). I hope so! I think it’ll depend on how he feels post 2020. And for better or worse we also have to factor in he’s getting married next year and will in the future have to consider a wife and building a family. I could see that making him retire before he really wants to to be successful in business or whatever to move onto his next phase, because that’s the kind of responsible bae he is.

Catching up on your recent posts and saw one of your responses to anons. I was wondering how likely you think it is that Nathan is backing away from social media because of what you call post-engagement hate? I mean it does seem like most of his fans hate Hal but it doesn't seem overt. Like I don't see posts to him saying your H sucks. Or am I missing stufd?

Hey! Well I’m not sure in a statistical sense because he way before the engagement was backing down on social media in general. I think there are possibly a lot of reasons, such as post Olympics depression, trying to set new training goals, planning for the engagement, family, travel, getting in new mindsets. I forget where but I recall he said part of the reason why he enjoyed social media during Rio so much was bc he had so much down time and was often lonely. He strikes me as a guy who wants to be busy and productive and I also want to believe knowing what about him he’s already secretly stressed trying to figure out his plans after retirement.
